13Lovely large modern apartment, two of us stayed for a week. Very comfortable, clean, modern, well built. Everything was great except the building site opposite which is close, noisy and starts early. Does offer some interesting crane operations though. Our vehicle was too large for the carpark, we parked it on service street for the duration.
Just a wonderful place to stay while we are over here from New Zealand. Super clean and tidy apartment style room with a beautiful kitchen. Check in and check out was made super easy and fuss free with tonnes of communication either by email or phone. Only reason location is 4/5 is due to the construction going in that particular precinct. But that is completely out of anyone's control! Aside from the construction, the hotel is literally right next to Hampton train station making travel to the city heckin easy! 100% would recommend! Ooh and don't forget to rebook the complimentary parking!
Incredible value for money great communication from reception once we downloaded the app would encourage anyone looking for accommodation in Hampton to consider staying here I was initially concerned about train noise but was pleasantly surprised how quiet it was inside the unit will definitely stay here again
To start. Getting the Keys was a new experience. It looks like you get your keys from a vending machine. The justIN app is very handy for a couple and the hard key too.
The apartment is perfect, clean and central to everything you need. We only missed a potato peeler and a water jug that was provided after our request. Otherwise pots, pans, plates, cups and exelent coffee and tea was in the room. The kitchen and the laundry is super Handy and so is the revers circle aircontitioning especially when one returns from Philip Island all Frozen up by the chilling wind.
The location of the apartment could not be better. Straight out the door is the railway station (the train noise can't be heard in the apartment). The best bakeries, yummy coffee shops, butcher or the gym are just 50m to the left of the place and 30m to the right is Woolies.
Parking in the Car-stacker was very secure and a new experience for us. We loved the security system thru the place. We stayed in many places and this was one of the best accomodation in every way.

We stayed in Room 504 and on the second night of our stay we had raw sewage coming up from the toilet onto the floor and through the bathroom and kitchen sink. We notified reception and they sent the cleaners who put towels down and moved us to another room that we had to wait for an hour while they cleaned it. Anias and Willow (the cleaners) were extremely helpful. On top of this we had noise outside from the fruit shop in the morning (around 5.30am).
When I spoke to the manager Sarah regarding compensation she only said I was eligible for 30% off on another stay at a Melbourne property if we booked again rather than give any compensation on this booking. Or the only other option was a late checkout the day we depart. This is simply terrible customer service from Sarah as why would we decide to stay in another property? Her reason for not giving compensation on this booking is because they changed us to a similar room within a good timeframe. This is beside the point though as sewage should never be coming up from the pipes when you are paying $200 a night. This is not a cheap hotel/ accommodation and would expect much better. 30% off should be given on this booking or even a night for free as there is no way we would book again with this property.
I have stayed at many properties all over the world and usually if something like this would occurs they would at least give 1 night for free or a partial refund on the booking. Clearly this company (Sarah/Management) do not value customers.
Would definitely not recommend anyone staying here with this sort of customer support from Sarah.
Great place to stay clean and tidy the only problem we had wanted to stay an extra night but the cost was too much and not flexible. The flat was not let so they lost out.
Great location, house keeping service, good value for money. Was perfect for what we needed, a short term stay.
Very noisy. Construction going on below with trades starting at 7am with radios blaring, electric tools constantly cutting, drilling, trucks arriving - no more warning given anywhere on website or when calling to make reservation enquires. Established, quality accomodation services always pre warn on booking sites whenever noise, construction, renovations, access etc may be an issue and the time period for, so people can make their own decisions before booking. Being a small ‘boutique hotel’ moving to another room would make no difference. Even without construction, the noise from forklifts and trucks reversing to the fruit shop next door will wake you as windows very poorly insultated. If you want a peaceful family vacation and sleep in beyond 6am, book elsewhere.
I have never come across a hotel better than this. The staff skills are amazing they are so beautiful and me and wife were rocking the bed so good, the beds are amazing.would recommend.
Great location, train station nearby, golfers paradise, shopping and restaurants at your doorstep.
The apartments are very clean and modern with everything one could need for a night or a month. I was dubious at the way one books a room but I tested the waters and it is fine. I would highly recommend Anchorage Apartments.
Have had a great long weekend very nice apartment close to the beach train station and shops, down side the check in no reception on site the girl on the phone had limited customer service skills very blunt forgot it was our weekend away
Not very happy Warning Don’t stay in Room A203
We arrived in from the Gold Coast to our apartment A203 to the sound of a Mac Truck after trying to find the sound we realised it’s a commercial generator from the fruit market next door!
I call the off site office to be told there was nothing they could do about it for two days!
We have locked all doors and windows to try and block out sound it’s like a jail cell no fresh air!
We were told they could move us in two days so we now have to unpack and repackaged on Sunday to move rooms!
Oh and don’t try to speak to a manager cause there all away till Monday!
It’s not a good way to start our two week stay at anchorage!
First time I've stayed at accommodation without reception desk Lovely large apartment on 5th floor with view of retail rooftops Very convenient to train station eateries and stores for retail therapy
