Won’t be going back for battered food again Batter is fatty and spongy and tasted Yuck! Staff were friendly and pleasant

Worse fish an chips ever the batter is disgusting an full of oil I don't like biting in to things to get a mouthful of oil you have no idea how to run a business

Pathetic flake for the price literally could eat it in two bites, chips were claggy and only a hand full, terrible experience definitely won't be returning.

Horrible oily fish which tasted nothing like flake! Only gave 2 stars as the chips and potato cakes were ok.

Good quick service, nice and friendly chips and other stuff cooked so perfectly they were still great after a 20 minute drive home, without going soggy. Very nice fish too

My mother and I always come here after doing the shopping and we reliably have great, friendly service; the chips are also the best I’ve ever had which is saying something since my standard is the chips from a fish and chip shop in Linton, around an hour and a half to 2 hours away from here.

Today we tried some other stuff too; a potato salad (which is kind of meh for me) and pasta salad (little bit better but won’t stay on the fork LOL) and potato scallops, which according to the guy, is the best around xD

Only time we’ve had bad service was one day when he had to go deal with an emergency and had to close up shop xD

They deleted my other review I'll repost what I wanted to sayI was just visiting today but If you're in Bell Post Hill AVOID, AVOID, AVOID the fish and chips shop on Anakie rd next to the pharmacy. They were appaling! I bought something from them and was just having a nice general chat and then the Asian lady was a bit rude in her tone out of no where so I asked her can you please not talk to me like that your tone isn't nice. Please apologize. She preceded to SCREAM at the top of her lungs at me for no reason. I remained calm until the end but I was shaking because I was so angry. If you want to not be screamed at then go somewhere else. Especially in this time. I'm not the kind of person to say things lightly or tell anyone anything but AVOID LIKE THE VIRUS. Has been reported to consumer affairs.

First time ordering from there. Service was excellent. The lady that took my order was very friendly. A couple of regulars came in while I was there, I got a sense they had built up a little community & have loyal customers, staff knew them by name & greeted them warmly, like old friends. It was great to see, as that sort of customer service, really seems to be lacking, these days. Food was delicious. Will definitely be back)

Will not return, the quality of the Fish and Chips is poor and overpriced, my piece of Flake was mostly Soggy Batter and inedible which was the size of a Fish Finger and Dim Sims were cold and undercooked.

Probably a 3.5 but not a 4. Mixed up my order, but we're happy to fix it, so well done. Chips were pretty good, but found the fish batter oily and heavy, which may just be a personal preference issue. Clean store, hospitable service.

I made a phone order. The woman there had no knowledge of the products and was of no help at all. When asked if the flathead tails had bones, she said she doesn't eat them so how would she know?

Always happy staff, everything is cook perfect. Will always have a chat when i see them. Great customer service.
