58Workers made my daughter cry when she wanted to try on a jacket and they said she looks “wayyyy” too big to fit into that. Now she needs therapy. Never coming back
I was just trying to shop in the Anaconda store in Preston and witnessed the manager attempting to scam 2 customers out of money. They came in and politely asked for a refund on a product the store was holding “for further assessment” but the couple explained they had already waited 2 weeks for a refund on this product that failed to work on their camping trip.
The manager was smiling and being quite nasty and refusing to refund the product, so the customer began to record the exchange and as soon as they began filming the manager processed the refund immediately and begged for the video to be deleted if he refunded it.
He held up the entire line to do this which was a total inconvenience and it was honestly just uncomfortable to watch his aggressive behaviour. I won’t be back.
No service Preston. Lined up to purchase an item during my (rushed) lunch break, store was not busy at the time. Was asked to wait a few minutes while the staff member unwrapped a chair. Waited for a minute before leaving, left item on the counter. I like going into stores to see what I'm buying, but this is a prime example why bricks and mortar stores can't compete.
Don't like punishing a store with a low ranking because of one bad experience but how else can adjustments be made?

Got my reel spooled at anaconda epping.
On my way home realised they did a terrible job it looked like a birds nest.
Went to anaconda preston to get a refund or exchange for new line as it’s close to home and they refused to give it to me eventhough i had a receipt from 20 minutes ago.
Scarlet (the lady who served me) was being extremely rude barely looked at my receipt and said “how do i know you didnt do this yourself? ” Clueless that it has the date and time on the receipt and it would have been impossible to get there so quick if i spooled it myself.
Told her to ring anaconda epping to confirm that it was them that spooled the reel and she refused.
Very unhappy with the rude staff i am taking it further with head office
Had a visit today and got all the essentials for an upcoming snow trip.
Great selection of clothing and gear, well priced and cheaper for members which is great so I signed up.
Staff were so helpful and I was in and out in 1 hour and a half, all set.
Definitely recommend!
Good range but the service was dreadful. There was no one in store to help and girl who served me rolled her eyes when I asked to check on a price, then barely spoke to me. Poor customer care.
Ari helped us out by recommending a bunch of camping gear when we weren't too sure what to get. Everything worked out perfectly. Thanks mate
We have ordered a swag for delivery, on January 2nd 2023 & its12 days later & still waiting. We r arriving in Feb to pickup this swag from my mother’s in Keilor. Hope its there before we arrive, Not sure what the hold up is. Emailed but no clear answer.

These guys are super helpful and there is a HUGE selection. Surprisingly for a camping shop, especially good for hiking/ running shoes. By far the best place I tried out of all of Northland. Plus clothes range great for tall people and larger sizes. I will be back!
Refused to give me a refund even though I was returning an unused faulty item within 28 days of purchase with the receipt.
We found the service to be exceptionally good and very friendly, we left with exactly what we wanted, well done guys
I would like to acknowledge and thank Brodie at Anaconda, Preston for his wonderful customer service today. He really understood quickly what I was after and he was very familiar with the stock. The Marmot jacket is a great choice!

Really unpleasant experience. Questionable return policy for faulty goods (I was told store credit only, I was only offered refund when I outlined Australian Consumer Law regarding faulty products). Staff are incredibly rude. When I explained my right to a refund for faulty goods under Australian consumer law I was told "Whatever, good story". I was eventually told that "I can't be bothered talking to you" and given a refund. If you don't want a horrible consumer experience, steer well clear and shop elsewhere!
The staff have nothing better to do than bad mouth their Manager at the top of their voice for well over 10 mins. No Good morning, no customer service, just gossip.
Lovely staff and great customer service! Tara in particular was very helpful and made my experience at anaconda a 10/10

20 Jan 21. I was fortunate enough to be served by Alex who went out of his way to help me including checking stock outback. At the register I met Ari, who again went out of his way to help.including advising of discounts through membership. Friendly, made me feel importantl. Superb customer service. Both should be considered for employee of the month. There was also a young girl in the register area who was jovial, and joined in the conversation. What a
