Anaconda Hoppers Crossing

False advertising. Told me 139$ at the counter. I can't find any chair advertised for 139$ in the whole store. The staff didn't care to change the sign when I left?

Got sent the wrong order from this store and unable to physically return as can’t drive at the moment and live >50kms from the nearest store

Worst customer service. When asked for assistance customer service lady in counter said you don't know how to read price tag.never want to shop at this Hoppers Crossing store anymore.

We got some extra snow gear here: boots, hats, gloves. They have eeeeeverything ️️

EXCELLENT:
-Range of stock, items, gear, equipment, clothing.
-Prices are very nice:) no need to buy stuff online that we haven't tried on. So we know correct sizing.

NOT-SO-GOOD:
-Anaconda Hoppers Crossing is EXTREMELY dusty! You will get red eyes, itchy nose and eyes. Sneezing. Dusty so bad. The airborne dust is actually visible too.

So my recommendation is to go in quick, hold your breath and wear goggles, pay for your stuff and get out quick. The staff would appreciate that too haha

Really good customer service from Darcy. He went above and beyond for my daughter and I and made sure that we were all set. Good job!

Big thank you to Shaun and the team at Anaconda Hoppers, best service I've experienced so far from a camping store, they didn't have a roof tent on display that I was interested in and went out of thier way to find one in the warehouse and open it up and let me see it all before purchasing. Very happy with the no stress or pressure environment and overall customer service of the store.

Lots of snow gear at great prices. Only challenge is finding small or extra small size in anything.

Always overstocked. Messy store. Needs at least 2 staff at the counter. Some staff are lovely, and some are too focused on getting things done and forgetting about the purpose of customer service. We would rather be in the geelong branch where help is always available with a smile.

Great store, open late on Fridays. We went over to Anaconda for clearance shoes and puffer jackets. There are a wide range of puffer jackets but unfortunately some of the jackets weren’t able to be tried on because they had extra security of them due to their high value.

We ended up getting a couple of pairs of camping shoes and 4 puffer jackets for great prices that were on sale or even clearance, and even better that the person who helped us selecting our puffer jackets Carson was very knowledgeable and very friendly. There was even a case of shoplifting in the place too, so I hope there was CCTV footage on Friday night to catch the number plate and the person who shoplifted the place.

I was not so happy that despite the range that there was limited stock for the range, so you had to monopolise with one or two brands for the size of one or two particular puffer jacket (s) each person. Kids puffer jackets weren’t available at the time my family went to Anaconda.

But at the end of the day, we couldn’t believe that we had great service from this place even though we spent like about an hour and and a half in the store looking for two different set of things, meaning I missed out on looking for some handcasters for my personal use for when I want to start fishing.

Huge store with plenty of car parking on the side of the shop.
Staffs were really welcoming, friendly and nice.
They sell massive selection of outdoor gears and active clothing. We bought 4 shirts and inner layer for hiking with great deal from columbia, cederberg and gondwana. Currently having 20-30% off for Keen and merrell footwears too.

Store manager (Oliver) is rude and has absolutely no concept of warranty covered by Australian Consumer Legislation. Absolutely disgusting customer service and lack of knowledge. He said “we are just the seller of it, we don’t manufacture it” when trying to explain a warranty issue 1 month past the manufacturers warranty expiry (despite ACL applying). Anaconda you need a better manager at this store as he does not do your brand any justice. The staff have always been lovely

Great customer service and friendly staff. Special shout out and thank you to Shakira and Matt (the lovely gentleman at billing) who both went out of their way inspite of being a busy weekend to assist us.

Staff were extremely helpful particularly Ben at the till who assisted me on 25th June. There was quite a queue but he didn’t try to brush me off in any way to attend to other customers. He reassured me it was fine and continue to answered all my questions and find alternative stores that could have my size.

It was quite a crowd today and the team was still professional and friendly!

Store is a little bit expensive on some stuff and the cheaper brand fishing reels need updating

I was overcharged for a purchase at the Hoppers Crossing store.
I emailed the Anaconda with the receipt but I got no response.

Not too busy even in afternoons. Get in early though if you want sale items before they're sold out.
