They had a massive sign saying they beat any price by 10%. I showed them that the exact Columbia jacket I wanted to buy was on sale at Columbia’s own website. They then backtracked and said it has to be from a physical store. Not really sure how that would work. Do they expect me to drive to another store, not buy from them but just take photographic evidence then drive back?

Not sure what 1 star Rafael is on about. He certainly doesn't understand business, rent, premises insurance and employee wages. Ignore his 1 star. This is a 1st class business with fantastic stock and hard-working employees. My thanks to Sarah for her assistance and feet on the ground 1st class customer service and care. Rafael, you need a lesson in business, clearly a Gen Y entitlement person, just stick to food reviews. Real shoppers should just Ignore that review as it isn't helpful and just about him wanting something for nothing.

This is a huge shout out to Alex for helping me through a Mother’s Day exchange, he was able to find the appropriate size and lookup the receipt of purchase all while I was driving to the store. It was all waiting for me on my arrival which was very close to closing time. What fabulous service! Definitely 5 stars. Thanks again Alex!

So convenient. On my way home. Enough parking friendly staff. Online shopping click and collect how sweet. We are so spoiled with choice. Great products at Anaconda. Always my first shop searching for a outdoor product.

Corey is the man to see, my brother and I are on holidays and weren't sure how to set up our fishing rigs, we don't usually fish. Corey was excellent, he took time to teach my brother and I exactly what sort of rig we should set up- and where we should fish and even what specific type of bait to use in specific areas. From spear fishing to catching small fish this kid knows his stuff. Thanks Corey for contributing to an already wonderful holiday, thanks Anaconda.

Do not buy north face jackets here the quality is bad or seem fake. Feathers coming out everywhere all the time! Waranty service wasnt helpful as they said its normal? ! Was advised to massage it back and use sticky tape. Waste of $500.

Couldn't fault this store, it has everything. The sales assistant Jenny was very helpful and her knowledge of the products was fantastic. Definitely my go to store now!

I purchased Kanulocks for my Dads birthday in February. He used them at Easter time, the fabric on the strap had torn and the metal cable has come out and cut through into his kayak which now leaks, when he got back he took the Kanulocks back to the Highett Anaconda store for replacement on the 15-5-21 at 12.07 pm and told by the team member Nicholas {nice guy} and store manager with dreadlocks that we have to notify the supplier. My Dad has called twice and told someone will call you back and still no one has. Not good service in my books and I wonder what will come of this? No buyers safety here and very disappointed we all understand things can go wrong although how long should somebody have to wait for service surely not more than 5 weeks? After entering the store, I walked around for a while, unable to find what I was after. Unable to find any staff on the floor, I went to the checkout, where I had to wait 10 minutes to get to the front of the line, even with four staff behind the desks. One was helping another process a return while the other two were just standing around. When I got to the front, I told the salesperson that I needed help locating a few items. He said someone would come out to help me. Nobody did. So I came back and waited another 10 minutes in line (this time it was just him behind the desk - I don't know where the others disappeared to).

He was finally able to get another staff member to "help" me. When I asked her for the items I was looking for, she apologised, saying that she was filling in from another store and didn't know where things were. I gave up and told her not to worry, furious at the complete and utter waste of time. I needed to buy a product that was only available at Anaconda (which I'd already left at the checkout from earlier, hoping that I'd get served right away, as soon as I came back with the other items), and - you guessed it - had to wait yet another 10 minutes to be served again. If it wasn't for them being the only store nearby to stock that product, I wouldn't have given them my business.

When I asked the lady who'd helped me if I could be served right away, given how long I had been kept waiting, she apologised and said a lot of people had called in sick and therefore I just had to wait in line all over again. Mind you, at any given point in time, there were only 2-3 people in line. The store was not busy at all. Somehow, the staff who were there were just extremely slow in processing transactions. And when they were not behind the desk, it seemed like they vanished into thin air, as they couldn't even be found on the floor, offering assistance to customers.

When I worked in customer service, I was taught to acknowledge waiting customers with eye contact and let them know I'd be with them shortly. There was no acknowledgement at all here.

I would have left a lot earlier if I didn't need the single product I was purchasing, but I most definitely won't be returning here. And I'd recommend that other customers either try another Anaconda store or a different franchise entirely. The staff at the Highett store seem terribly incompetent, sad to say.

Also, the phone was ringing non-stop since I walked into the store and for the entire 45 minutes or so that I was there for. When there were four staff behind the desk, no one answered it. One guy - who stood around doing nothing - happened to pick it up once and hung up right away. Unbelievable.
