I was amazed about how clean it looked, and the amount of staff in each section.
What really impressed me, was the items like the long johns hanging up, to avoid customers opening them. Visual manager is on point at this store.

I was happy everything was in stock. The prices were pretty good too. Its worth it to sign up for membership, as you get really decent discounts. To hire boots on the mountain is usually around $25. Here you can get kids ones for $20 and adult for $35+. So just buy them and have them for years to come.

Went to Anaconda Epping yesterday with a faulty camping product. Sean went above and beyond explaining options to resolve the issue and resolve it next time. It was outstanding customer service and I’ll be back! Great store and customer focused staff! Thank you Sean

A heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Anaconda Epping. Everytime I go there the service is fantastic. I went in on Friday and there was a very long queue for the registers, a male staff member came & called out for all who were doing a click and collect & had us out in a flash. Thank you for your great service in this busy time of the year. Very much appreciated.

Hard to find help instore, website details for products and availabilty of products always seems to be incorrect

Went to purchase an e scooter. There were over 10 boxes available. When we got to the cashier, she had the price details incorrect, we corrected her, so she checked with someone? Manager. He came to the front & said those scooters are not for sale? If we paid the original price we could have taken the scooter home, but cause we asked her to check the price it no longer was for sale. I told the? Manager there were no signs that all of them had been sold. We left the store frustrated. No explanation & no apology. Just that they were all sold, but still sitting in the shop?

Terrible customer service, very unprofessional staff, especially the older woman that works there, had a click and collect and when the items wasn’t available.was not informed when I arrived, it was no care factor” oh well we don’t have it so too bad” no apologies, no helping with me with choosing another product almost walked out, but I did have to get a few other things, I will never go there ever again, list me as a customer.

I had a bad experience picking up my click and collect order. I found the same product cheaper in store so i asked them to refund me the difference or take the product back which i ordered from my click and collect. Very weird response from employee name Haneen that it cant be done. I don’t think it would be that complicated to cancel my online order and issue me the refund.
Instead of arguing i said i will get refund online.

There's an Anaconda store available in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne in Epping. I just love Anaconda for hiking gear. Just saved heaps on a pair of Keen hiking shoes, needed for my next trip to Spain to finish the Norte Camino, interrupted by Covid in 2020. Picked up zip-off hiking pants for $19.00. Bonus.

The “Fishing Guy” at Epping was super helpful and provided excellent customer service when selecting PFD’s.

Really had a bad experience with Mick from that store. No resolution or customer service skills.
Do not purchase products from that store particularly. There is no after service available.
Do not think that their products are better quality, you are better off either buying bikes from a cheap store or spending a little and buying off a bike shop.

Ordered a fishing rod/reel combo online (I know, was a little concerned about possible damage during shipping). Anyway, with some delays in shipping (Auspost) it arrived 2 weeks later and was damaged. Geelong store had shipped in plastic bag with one layer of bubble wrap only! After talking to Anaconda customer service and my local store (Epping) I arranged to return it for a replacement. Epping store did not have it in stock so they organised with Preston store (who did have it in stock) to replace it. Apart from my travel times during peak hour between home, Epping and Preston stores everything went smoothly.
Great customer service from Epping store who called Preston store to make sure they had replacement rod and held it till I got there. Thank you.

Seriously the most genuine staff so helpful and kind. We were assisted by Frank today who is an absolute asset to your team what a great employee, along with his manager went above and beyond to assist us. You’ve always been our go to store and today confirmed just why.
