AMS Music Centre reviews
7Very professional and accommodating management team, great proactive communication and customer care.
I am a parent of a past student of AMS music centre in Mount Waverley. I was very pleased with the teachers and their professionalism, their dedication and their preparation for music exams is of the highest calibre but more importantly the love they have for their instrument is evident. I am proud to say I am now a parent of a teacher at AMS so I have seen both sides and nothing makes this teacher more happy than when she sees the smiling faces of her students when they have successfully passed their exams or when they have mastered a particular technique. Teachers want nothing more than the students to feel comfortable and confident to ask relevant questions as there is always room for improvement.
Took my daughter for a half hour trial class for Piano and Guitar (15 mins each) @$40. The gentleman just kept on talking and doing random things. Didnf write or teach a single note or do anything fun. When i told the reception that we weren't too happy with instructor, she wanted me to try other teachers there but @$40 each!
We have been having music lessons at AMS for 6 years, and have been so happy with all the teachers there- especially Dylan and Keely. There's a great balance of fun and enjoyment of music, but also teaching the basics of theory and technique to help produce a beautiful sound! Admin staff are also very helpful, the centre has a positive atmosphere and the yearly concerts are a great motivator for students. Thanks!
Great experience, everyone was so welcoming and supportive. Would recommend to anyone looking to pick up a new (or first in my case) instrument!
My daughter needed to continue with clarinet lessons, during our 6 months stay in Monash, despite her not speaking English. Everybody has been very nice and friendly, trying to accomodate, adapt and help as much as possible. On the down side, the soundproofing of the classrooms is not really good.sometimes difficult for her to focus, when hearing other instrument in the next room.
