Lovely staff, very family friendly but also has great spaces for those working. Amazing coffee and brunch options. One of our favourite cafes

I’ve been getting my morning coffee from the crew at Ample for many years now. The coffee is amazing and the service is just simply the best you could ask for.

Probably THE nicest cafe in Melbourne. I come here every time I need Brekky before a tattoo- the food is perfect, the smoothies and coffees are delicious, the staff are sooo lovely and kind, and the cafe itself is so nice and cosy. 10/10 recommend!

Very high passive aggression levels from one older female staff member. Why does she do this job if she hates people?

Service was a bit slow but only cos of staff absence.
Remaining staff were helpful and friendly.

Stumbled across this place by accident. What a gem. Had to come back to have this avocado breakfast item it was that good! (But I have to say, on the second trip even tho the dish wasn’t identical, it was still yum). Coffee perfect. Both times. Thanks guys. I live on the other side of town but when I venture back in that direction, I’ll be back

Great food & coffee plenty of space.

Good hearty brunch options. Big portions and very decent prices.
Nothing overly fancy, good food done very well.

Kids friendly options for about $14 are also very large.

The space is massive with lots of large tables.
Warm and cosy in the winter, cool in the summer.

The staff is quite friendly and attentive.

If your happy park half a block down and walk up, you'll avoid stress that you don't need.

Great food, nice staff! The Avo Toast came so quick, I didn't expect that. Also the Chai was really good.

I got one half of a piece of Turkish bread cut in two with about two cherry tomatoes. Very ordinary and very small. We’re they running out of ingredients I don’t know but each dish was about $24 each and def overpriced. Not happy!

Best porridge l've had in Victoria. Great texture on the porridge, with a little bite still in the oats (nothing worse than some cafe's that serve stodgy porridge. But not here). Really nice level of sweetness, just enough to enhance and not overpower, cinnamon apple in nice chunks and nicely stewed with good texture (not too soft and not too hard), and the berry sauce is nicely done. The toasted granola adds a nice contrasting crunch to the softness of the other ingredients. There is a good balance in the amount of toppings (not pilled high like some places where the taste of the actual oats gets lost).
As Goldilocks would say. "it is just right".

Sat streetside in the sun. Had some mix ups with our brunch orders on a busy Saturday. Team were really good about it Food we had was very tasty, shout out to the Chilli Scramble. Smoothies received good reviews too

The food was great and the service was fantastic, it was refreshing to find staff that were friendly. A great place to meet friends and have some a coffee and bite to eat.

The food was okay, although not the best I’ve had. I had avo on toast and the feta was so salty. It was still nice though. Main issue was the temperature. It was ridiculously freezing. Staff wear beanies and puffer jackets. If you’re in workwear and expecting to take your coat off and enjoy breakfast, don’t stop here. It was warmer outside, it really ruined the whole breakfast.

A great local cafe with no nonsense cafe items. Seriously such a genius idea to halve the classic hash browns so its got more crispy bits. I also really enjoyed the benedict and coffee. Reasonable price and also can book online. Some outdoor seatings which makes it dog friendly.

Staff were very attentive and the food was really good! The music was a bit loud and pumping, would have been nice if it was a bit more chill. The milkshake was also really good. Would come back.

Drinks were excellent but the food wasn't up to it. I'm willing to try again, they may have just had an off day:)
