Amora Hotel Riverwalk Melbourne

Amazing hotel with fantastic customer service. Meals are better quality and cheaper price than the big restaurants across the street. You can walk to the MCG, short tram ride to cbd. The rooms have balconies too!

Loved the room, had a separate TV/lounge area, large bathroom with walk in shower and corner spa. Spa was lovely but very loud so couldn't have bubbles on too long. Bed was amazing best night sleep for a long time. There is a pillow menu so pillows to suite most people. Coffee pod machine. Nice place to walk next to the river. Breakfast buffet was good but took 5 attempts to get the bread toasted. Couldn't get internet shows (pay per view) Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Room was nice. Breakfast was ok for the price, although the coffee machine was not working well and the coffee was terrible. Spat water and steam everywhere (not just us). Staff came over and noted the milk was empty but didn’t fill it. Also very noisy humming fridge all night.

Location not bad easy to get to trams, rooms are comfy. Wouldn't advise to get a cocktail from the bar not presented well, not worth what you pay and to add to it 30c surcharge is charged every time you pay by card. Not happy about that given everyone would pay electronically these days and we should have been advised. Also states in the hotel compendium that airport transfers can be arranged but when we inquired we were advised they did not. Balconies could also be better maintained and cleared of dirt on the rails and spider webs.

A lovely place that is very clean with the most friendliest, polite and helpful staff. In a very convenient spot that is close to the city with trams just out the door. Beautiful views with lots of shops on Bridge Road. Highly recommended.

Rooms have a balcony, for morning coffee and a cigarette to start. Clean rooms, very friendly Front Desk staff. About 45mins drive from airport.

The rooms were quite small, even though they were across 2 levels. But the views were very impressive.

Helpful staff. Very nice accommodation. Great location and a tram stop right outside. No issues whatsoever. Happy to recommend.

They were still renovating, (should be finished now) the rooms are excellent although if you have trouble with stairs make sure to get a room that is on the same level as the floors because they have adjoining rooms one on the floor level as the other is one flight up. Great if you're visiting with family or friends & want to be close but still separate. I advise looking at the rooms as soon as you arrive to decide which one suits you.

This hotel is perfect for enjoying an awesome neighborhood of Melbourne. It was my first time in Australia, and this hotel's location was the perfect home base for exploring coffee, food, and the beautiful riverwalk. The room was so comfortable, and it had everything I needed for a great night's sleep! I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Melbourne.

This place has drastically improved over the last five years I’ve been coming to Melbourne for work. The staff is friendly and has increased in numbers over the years. My only concern is the showers are a bit small and only have a rain shower head, which was about 5cm from my head (not sure if this was isolated to my room or the level one).

Went in for the $20.00 Pot and Pizza deal to be told it had ended.
We insisted we only saw the add last week.
Three conversations later the waitress agreed to do the deal for us but as it was 12.0.clock we had to sit until 1pm as the kitchen wasn't ready to serve pizza yet. We sat and waited and at 1pm we ordered. The pizzas came out, the underside was pretty much stodgy/raw the topping was Tom, cheese, 4 pieces of zucchini, 3 pieces of eggplant, l found some onion and a mushroom in there. Pot was only 2 choices of beer
pretty poor. Service was pretty much non existent between the waitresses putting cutlery away and chatting at the coffee area.

Our good first impression of a nicely appointed hotel was spoiled by two nights of poor sleep due to noisy environment. Despite having asked for a quiet room we were given a room above the outdoor entertainment area with loudspeakers all around it. The music was relentless for several hours during the evening. On the second day we got a notification from the management about a function being held until 11.30pm. You really have to check what functions are on before booking if you're after a good night's sleep. However, I must say the manager apologised when we contacted them about it.

Very good hotel with all the facilities. Location is excellent for Melbourne. Rates were very reasonable.

The main areas of this hotel are well presented. The restaurant, for example, is very inviting. However, the bedrooms are getting a bit tired and arguably in need of a refurbishment. I found that the cleaning in the bedrooms could also be a bit better.

Just had a very pleasant afternoon here with live music in the courtyard and affordable beer & wine.

Very nice hotel next to the river. Great function venue and quality accommodation. Highly recommended.
