After the first couple lessons with Antonio, I've noticed great improvements already. He's all about the open natural singing which I think the foundation of singing. No one has taught me the vocal anatomy and the importance of knowing it to produce sounds correctly and not damaging the voice.
Not only he's good at teaching but also a lovely genuine person to talk to. He gives me encouragement and supports me in pursuing this passion that I have doubts at times.

I am very glad to have made the decision to come over here to learn singing. I have made tremendous improvements since I came here. Antonio has expanded my range, increase volume, improve voice quality, projection, colour, tone, diction and most importantly agility. He even helped me corrected my posture as I had the habit to hunch a lot! Initially I came here thinking of improving my singing as a hobby. But after half a year, I have found my voice and I am really thinking that I am capable to be a pop singer now. I am belting notes that I have never imagined I would be capable of singing (high and low) I have also improved my head voice range. I am also singing songs I have never been able to sing before this.

Nevertheless, there is a lot of hard work involved! Antonio is a vocal trainer and there are a lot of exercise he uses to improve your voice. Think of going to his lessons like going to the gym to build your muscles. Disciple, diligence, patience and passion are required if you want to get great and rapid results. The technique he has taught me is completely different from what I initially used before coming here. But it is the most effective and makes the most sense. You will eventually learn to sing without straining/tiring your voice or putting effort.

What I love about Antonio is the confidence he has instilled in me. I used to think I could never be good enough to be a real singer but he gave me lots of motivation and praises since day 1. He believed in me when I didn’t.

I had lessons with Anthony for two months during my stay in Melbourne, and during this time he helped develop my voice's potential by making it more powerful and beautiful. I wish I stayed in Melbourne longer.

Up to now signing has been a hobby for me. I always wanted to do something more with singing, but lacked confidence in my voice and my technique. I've recently started having singing lessons with Antonio and after only a few weeks, it has been a revelation! Antonio has shown me the incredible sounds and power my voice is capable of - I had no idea! I have been taking vocal lessons from Antonio for the past year and if you are serious about improving your vocals, this is the vocal coach to go to. During our year together, we worked on specific vowels and consonants to seal the hole in my passagio which gave me greater range, power and control over my voice. I used to struggle hitting a G# above a middle C but since our training, I can now easily hit a high Bb above a High C. Antonio is a master in vocal technique and his method has rebuilt the foundation of my voice. I am looking forward to finishing up our training.

Since starting lessons with Antonio, my pitch, technique, tone and the quality of my voice improved significantly. The method of teaching is unconventional, but I encourage you not to let this deter you. With patience, persistence, determination and an open mind, you will be amazed at what you can accomplish in just a few lessons.

I really appreciate how Antonio provides technical explanations when identifying and correcting intricacies because it's important to me that what I'm learning has purpose, logic and reason. He is a musical savant, with a gifted eye for detail. Lessons are taken inside his home with his lovely family and lots of animals present. I recommend reserving extra time as they usually run over time. If you hold judgements and feel bothered by this, these lessons are not for you. You need to be prepared to work hard, singing and repeating the same scales/intervals for months, even years. It is like slowly building a muscle. Stick with it because I promise these exercises are going to transform your voice with time.

In one year the most significant changes I've noticed are my pitch accuracy and strength in the upper range from blending chest and head voice. I can hit notes I never thought I'd reach in my chest voice and execute complicated runs. Thank you Antonio for being such a loving, unique and talented teacher. If you are hardworking and serious about singing, AML is the secret weapon.

Antonio is an extremely knowledgeable singing teacher with a thorough grasp of the anatomy of the singing apparatus. His ability to perceive and correct faulty technique is amazing. I thoroughly recommend him to any aspiring singer.

Antonio not only teaches me how to sing, how to breathe, what to do with my throat and body, but also helps me realize my potential as a vocalist and this has boosted my confidence in my talent and ability

I assisted to 3-4 sessions with my girlfriend. All of them, he was really unprofessional. The available space is tiny (barely you feel comfortable, don't trust on the photos due all of them are random or outdated), the room had cat hair that was not good for my girlfriend allergies and we were continuously interrupted by his family members entering and leaving the room where he was teaching. He didn't remember our last sessions, also he never remembered that we actually we have experience singing. A lot of irregularities in his method: he suggested keep singing even if you feel pain in the throat, one of the girls that he presented as more advanced was forcing too much her voice trying to reach higher notes but he didn't corrected her. I would not recommend him. I don't doubt that he knows how to sing, but he doesn't know how to teach.

I don't like to receive unexpected calls from people that is not my family/friends. It's awkward and you shouldn't do it. It's just as awkward as when people do not complain just for being polite, but that doesn't mean that "everything goes perfect" or they don't want to complain. So, the situation keep banging in my head for a while as I should wrote this review or no, and finally I decided that other potentials students should know.

I had the experience of being educated for other teachers and let me tell you that there is a huge difference: not bad smells, teacher always with clean clothes, no animal hair, no interruptions, the sense of having a "plan". The fact that someone needs to tell you that nothing of that is for certain in your classes is incredible mean but is what i experienced with you.

Your method has good ideas and I really tried to concentrate but i always feel uneasy about those irregularities but the most terrible thing is the girl that I mentioned before and I also experienced the same and that is a no-no: that you were not be able to recognises that some actions can produce potential damage on the voice. I don't really think that you should be able to teach if you keep thinking like that. But well, is just my opinion.

Antonio is a fantastic singing teacher. His knowledge of the physicality and mechanics of singing have helped me accelerate the power and strength of my voice and extend my range.

My vocals really improved within few days after starting the lessons, Antanio has been an amazing vocal couch and I highly recommend AML for anyone interested to improve their vocals.

I found the experience at AML Golden Voice Studio extremely valuable for my learning and development as a singer. I have been unable to find the singing technique taught at this studio anywhere else, and it has greatly enhanced both my vocal ability, and the strength and agility of my voice. Antonio, a master of natural vocal production, is a very professional teacher, and not only gives clear instructions and constructive comments, but also good general advice on advancing singing careers. The atmosphere at this school is extremely welcoming, and you are made to feel at ease. I would strongly recommend this singing school for people of any singing style.

From my original review written 6 years ago, I am still a student at AML Golden Voice Studio and still extremely satisfied with the quality of teaching and support provided by Antonio. Under Antonio's guidance, I have preformed in various local concerts, festivals, and charity events. I have received positive feedback on my performances from attendees (not associated with the studio), which I can only credit to the hard work and dedication that Antonio has put into training my voice and performance skills. All my lessons are tailored specifically for me to target areas that need improvement.

I would like to reply to a previous reviewer who mentioned that he heard me sing with incorrect vocal technique while at the studio - in my experience, I have never had Antonio overlook or not correct wrong technique. Whenever I have made errors, whether it be wrong vocal placement, straining of the voice, or any other technical errors, Antonio has always immediately stopped me to correct my faults.

I still, 6 years later, strongly recommend this singing studio for any who desire to either learn to sing or improve upon their current abilities!

Attending AML Golden Voice Studio was a very unique and beneficial singing experience for me.
The technical detail and fundamental knowledge that Antonio has of the physicality of the human voice helped me to understand and apply technical skills that I’ve never been taught or understood before. Working with him built strength and power, improved tuning and developing vibrato as well as challenging me with difficult Italian Arias and the chance to perform in a student concert. This gave me the confidence back that I had lost before attending his lessons. Singing lessons can be very confronting and scary, but Antonio made me feel like it’s ok, even necessary to sound terrible on the journey to Bel canto. His genuine passion for the art gave me courage and I feel very grateful that he has been my coach along an important part of my singing journey.

Antonio is a compassionate, caring and extraordinary singing teacher. My 10 yr old son struggled to reach high ended notes and hit certain pitch levels before attending his classes. I was very impressed with Antonio’s dedication In helping his students improve. After several lessons, my son’s vocal skill, voice control and pitch has improved rapidly. Maestro Antonio Maria Lancuba is a true gentleman.and a doctor of the voice.it is easy to say this.i was completely tone deaf.iv had more than 5 previous teachers that only made me sing songs.they never could help with my tone deafness.he is the first to hone in on precise technique that he has studied in Italy.and now i can honestly say i can sing in tune and with confidence.

I got to Antonio around 8-9 months ago and I have to admit that I was skeptical at the beginning as his method was different compared to another teachers (I sang in the choir for some time and I had one more singing teacher for around 3 years). I couldn’t believe how fast my voice started to develop - I had a weak and quiet voice. Today my voice is just booming! It is loud, strong and my vocal range got extended. Finally I can easily hit lower and higher notes that were out of my reach! Antonio can easily explain what and how do you have to do to get a lot of sound out of your chest:) We had our sessions during entire lockdown once a week on Skype and I really couldn’t be more happy and grateful about the result as my singing lessons with the other teacher did not bring me anywhere closer after 3 years of sessions to what I achieved with Antonio’s guidance in such short time! I definitely highly recommend his classes.
