Amigos Charcoal Chicken

The lovley young lady working on sunday the 21/01/2024 at 6PM was very nice to me and my family. She had great custmer service skills and was very clear with what she was saying. She was also great dealing with cash unlike alot of teenagers thease days. Great job to who ever you are.

I don't understand how they have a decent rating. The chicken was dry and the chips were clearly cooked in old oil as they were made fresh, but tasted old.

Plain and simple, this is the best charcoal chicken you will ever eat. It's so good it will make you weep.

Best chips in the East. Very generous. And the secret menu item to die for is the chicken roll. Tremendous. 10/10

I came to this chicken and chip shop as my local one was closed. I made a phone order for 1 whole chicken, 2 large chips and a large gravy. Picked up the order and tapped my card not realising until later that I was charged $53. It was $17.50 for 1 whole chicken, $13 for 1 large chips and $9 for a large gravy. I was mortified that chicken and chips costed this much! I had also asked for chicken to be cut up in 8 and was not cut up at all. No extra salt on chips when I had asked. I would have been happy to grab a meal deal that was cheaper… and told that 1 large chips would be enough four four people as I spent in total $27 on chips … it’s a joke.

Amigos Charcoal Chicken is the Juchno of the charcoal chickens. The Milwaukee of the chips. The chicken is the bees knees. The gravy is so good it flowed down from the heavens. They pride themselves in speed, quality, and efficiency. Going over and above for their customers (literally overflowing the box’s with chips and chicken). Bringing charcoal chickens to a new level of fine dining. This fine establishment is as clean as a freshly run Thermador DWHD770WFM dishwasher with all food sides neatly displayed out. They define “fresh food”. The service is bubbly, cheeky and out of this world just like the food. You won’t be disappointed. See you there ;)

Clean great layout. Brilliant service very friendly. Chips and gravy were a generous amount and delicious.

Bought 4 steamed dim sims and they charged me 50c for soy sauce which consisted of a slug from a bottle. I commented but they didn't care. F you.

Our regular chicken and chips local take away gets 5 stars. The chicken has authentic bbq taste and serving of chips are always so generous and crunchy!

Legendary chips and gravy, awesome chicken, fresh salads made on the spot, been going there for almost 20 years, and still crave the chips and gravy most days. Amazing. My favourite place on earth for food. Not once ever have we had a bad meal. Not once. Reliable and delicious every. Single. Time.

Chicken on real charcoal spit looks and smells so good.but when we got the chicken home very disappointong. Chicken so salty so dry almost like powdery in the mouth. Name "amigos" a little deceptive.you couldthink they have real "pollo asado"

The portion of chips was huge and tasty. However, the chicken is very salty. Otherwise, very happy with what I’ve paid for.

Amazing chips, gravy and chicken. However, during picking up our order tonight I noticed the owners and another worker talking non stop presumably mandarin around the other workers who obviously had no idea what they were saying.

Bad experience. Waited 25 mins. No food - turns out my order was put in the wrong location (no system) and they then said they could not do the gravy or peas I had ordered. I did get my money back but I did not get any apology.

Really what else do you need to hear, highly recommend visiting.
