AMIGA Montessori Burwood

Our son has been an Amiga Burwood for the last 2 years and it is a fantastic family friendly centre. The team is lead by Charlton and Marleen who do an amazing job of creating a really nurturing and stimulating environment. It is clean and well maintained. All the educators take pride in their work and connection with the children. We get daily updates both via an online portal aswell as when we pick our son up. Our son is learning and developing every day he attends the centre and is happy when he gets home. Recently the staff have also assisted re-settle my son and have gone out of their way to think of creative ways of ensuring he has a smooth morning drop off. I couldn’t recommend this centre enough. 5 stars to the team at Amiga Burwood.

AMIGA Montessori Burwood has been a fantastic preschool for my daughter. The teachers are caring and dedicated, and the Montessori curriculum has helped her develop important skills. The facilities are excellent, and the sense of community is strong. Highly recommend!

We started using services of this center from Nov2022. There are a few centers nearby which we visited, but this ticked off all our parameters as a childcare and kinder of choice for our son. With the educators warm and friendly, and the management approachable, this center is certainly set up for success and to be a sought for childcare for parents and guardians in the area. Considerate, understanding, and good listeners is how I would sum up our experience with AMIGA Montessori Burwood. We enrolled our kids into 4 years old programs. The centre is new and beautiful. Lots of indoor and outdoor space. Staff are all friendly. Room educators can always tell you what’s happened during the day. We can feel so much caring and love from the educators. I am also impressed that even Centre manager Charlton and Marleen both can remember all the kids’ name. 100% recommended!

The staff are warm, approachable and genuinely care for the children. My son really enjoyed at Amiga.

We moved to Melbourne in December 2022 and was worried about finding the right daycare for our daughter. After meeting the Amiga Burwood team, we were convinced this was the right place for our daughter. We never looked back since. Our daughter is well taken care of, happy and enjoying the Amiga environment. This is a great and friendly childcare. Special thanks to Marleen, Charlton, Sulbha, Cam, Ashara and other staff who really makes an effort for the children.

Amiga Montessori Burwood has greatly exceeded our expectations. Our daughter has been attending Amiga for almost 6 months and we have noticed such a development in her already. She is incredibly independent and wants to do everything herself - even down to throwing away her own leftovers and wiping her own face. She has settled into childcare so well and it’s all thanks to Charlton, Marleen and the educators. There were tears for maybe 2 weeks at drop off but now she is so excited to get into the rooms she doesn’t even look back to say goodbye! The educators are very attentive to our little one and it shows as she is so excited to see them at drop off. It takes a lot of pressure off knowing how happy she is and how she is thriving at Amiga. They provide her with a delicious variety of meals every day she is in. Overall we are very happy and highly recommend Amiga for your child.

We have been to other centre but never feel my child is so happy to go to centre everyday. Staff are actively listening to parents and children needs concerns and act promptly. I feel assured sending my child to this centre.

My 21 month old son has been going to Amiga Burwood for almost 6 months now. He had very bad separation anxiety before going to Amiga but to our surprise, it took him less than 2 months to completely get used to leaving us in the morning. He now enjoys every moment at Amiga and especially loves the food there. All the educators are very caring and kind. I’m glad I made this choice. Can’t recommend more to local parents.

Our kids both love Amiga! Even our little one who was so attached to me is having such a great time and her development took a big leap. The staff know our kids well and we appreciate the good communication and daily updates.

My son loves attending this childcare, he is always happy and cheerful at the end of the day. The staff are very friendly and engaging with the kids. Attentive and on the ball staff who take the time to get to know your child, my son only went one day a week and assimilated well to the environment. The staff listen and take on board feedback.

Amiga Burwood is a fantastic early education center. The teachers are very gentle and attentive. The managers are friendly and approachable. My 3 years old had a great experience at Amiga Burwood. The teachers who speak mandarin are very helpful. I will not hesitate to recommend Amiga Burwood to anybody especially those mandarin speaking families.

Such a caring and warm place! After many months looking for a new place to move my daughter from a different childcare where we had many bad experiences, I was recommended by a friend to Amiga Burwood. The first time meeting Charlton the centre manager I could see he is so genuine and had a great passion to care and grow this place. The educators made efforts to build trust and connection with children. I like how I get the daily update very specifically when I pick up my daughter in the afternoon. Although the centre is not big but they had great learning program and resources. My daughter’s knowledge has improved so much which surprised me a lot. We are so grateful!

Teachers are lovely, caring, responsible and friendly. My daughter just loves to go there every single time. She feels happy all the time.

The staff is so warm and teachers are lovely at Amiga Burwood. They are so encouraging and persistent with your child that they come up with different ways/ techniques to help the child learn. Each child gets individual attention and gets well looked after.

My daughter has been attending since last year and she has been thriving at Amiga's. She is very happy and I get regular updates on her development. Educators are excellent and the management is beyond comparison. My child is a picky eater at home but she loves everything she is served at Amiga's. I don't know if the chef is so good or the educators are so skilled that they can convince her to eat (sometimes she eats more than 1 serve there which never happens at home). She loves all the activities there and I can observe remarkable improvements in her motor skills.

Our little one attends Amiga Montessori in Burwood and this has been such a great change for her and the best decision we made. Since starting at Amiga she has grown socially, emotionally and developmentally- we have been so proud of our little ones growth, which is attributed to the amazing staff at Amiga Burwood. Our little one settled in so easily and the educators developed a very close bond with her from day dot. Prior to picking Amiga, we looked at many childcares and our little even attended another childcare prior to our move into the area. In comparison to the previous childcare, our little one has developed in leaps and bounds and the educators are very experienced and insightful to our little one’s needs. Amiga has definitely exceeded our expectations and I could not recommend the centre enough.

My daughter has gone through a lot of childcare and this was the first one where i feel that the educators genuinely care for her. The update I receive at the end of the day and her photos make me feel assured that she’s got great carers. My daughter loves Marlene she easily hold her hand and say goodbye to her. Easily recommended!
