If you're assigned to them, change immediately. I've been with them for months and literally no one has contacted me. Someone wrote a job plan that literally has someone else's details in it and my agent never replies to communications or calls back. What kind of service is this? Surely you'd find better employees if you shopped your own job seeker clients? Absolutely abysmal.

Avoid this service provider at all costs! Or have your payment cut by people who who have no idea how to do their job! Cyndy - I don’t know how many times she can be told something after a complete mistake on her part! She has no idea! No clue absolutely

Cindy was my support worker and has been very supportive and caring during my time since i arrived in Melbourne not so long ago. Today we were both able to celebrate happily as i have gained a good job with a great employer thanks to AMES and Cindy! A great team with a lot of support for employment and personal development! Very grateful indeed.

Cancelled my payment again after I had done all my requirements which seems to be consistent.
No one mans the front desk so naturally you have to call a dozen times before it even gets picked up.
I dress professionally at every appointment but still manage to leave feeling judged and belittled.
If you are sent here I would suggest a transfer request form and go elsewhere.
You will not receive the help need.

A great job seekers hub which helps individuals to find a job and be confident at the start of a job and take you through with a safe hand!

I've been with Ames on and off for almost 2yrs and have always dealt with Cindy. She's been very professional in handling my job searching requirements and has helped me many times when I've needed extra help. She keeps in daily contact to see if I've reached all my requirements and attended all my interviews and helped with uniforms and or petrol to get to work.

There is a very rude and mental sick person in this office called Cindy (don’t know her last name) I just went there as an interpreter once and she seemed so aggressive and a very bad behaviour with her client! I am writing this review for an action from higher management. She doesn’t know her responsibilities and she is not a good match for her position at all. I hope nobody get to see her

I think it is a very good service for people out there who are currently jobless. Speaking of the staff. They are an amazing team to work with.
They always try their best to look after their clients. Cindy is an amazing lady to work with. She supported me through out my job searches. She is very helpful consultant. I just got a job this week in the Automotive Industry. I am looking forward to work at the company. I am really happy and blessed.

I am a very respectful and responsible person but I am writing this to let everyone know about Cindy R at AMES. Cindy gets her clients as slaves. She threatened me and other people several times that she will cancel our Centrelink payments if we couldn’t attend to appointments even with a proper reason! She has been very rude and aggressive. This is not how a job provider behave. This person is too moody and seems she wants to get revenge of poor people because she thinks she has the power! I want anyone who can read this please make an action because I do not know how what to do here! Thanks

Preston office staff rude consistently, don’t seem to care. Maybe it’s because they are always so understaffed, I’m not sure. No empathy. Bad attitudes. Move staff to different locations, get a new manager, get more staff. Change something, anything, NOW.

Terrible hands off and unhelpful agency more focused on fulfilling their 'quota' for centrelink than actually helping and understanding people's search for employment to better their lives. Little to no communication and nine times out of ten no face to face contact with assigned worker for scheduled appointments and just referred to the receptionist to tick some boxes instead.
