After a horrible experience at colour collections, in Frankston. My daughter and I, fortunately, found the amasso hairdresser. Our hair was in a horrible condition, from orange to yellow, the structure of the hair was destroyed (and don't let me get started about the haircut we received). Sam did an unbelievable job, corrected the colour and the haircut. Both my daughter and I never had such a beautiful colour before. We both felt amazing after leaving the hairdresser. Best hairdresser we've ever been to and we felt extremely welcome in this warm and funny environment. We will never, ever go to another hairdresser again. Thank you Sam.

I have been coming to this salon a little over a year after my amazing hairdresser closed her shop. I'm always really happy with both Sandra and Sarina. I also love how Sam is always checking with them on every client, just to make sure things are being done right - he's a perfectionist and this makes his salon perfect. I'm never worried about the end result when I visit Amasso and Sam has great ideas about what to do with your hair when you need a new style or are deciding between foils/ombre etc. I never feel pressured to buy anything extra and the vibe in the salon is just happy, relaxed and fun!

Had an ombré done, at the time I wasn’t to focused on the price as I just wanted change. But now looking back it was quite expensive and I don’t think it even any included toner! Felt like the staff didn’t hear words I was saying either. And it took over 5 hours. I was dying to get out. The technique was good, but the end result was average for the price

The staff at Amasso were very warm and friendly. I instantly felt at ease. They made sure i was comfortable and ensured i was satisified before i left even inviting me to come back if something needed fixing.

I am super picky with my hair and have paid hundreds of dollars in the past with other salons always walking out disappointed or different to what I have envisaged in my mind. My sister referred me to Sam last year. My hair is very fine and I have been told by several hairdressers I can't achieve certain colours, style or a particular look because of my hair. I have had my hair done 3 times since being referred. Sam's technique is just amazing. There is a before and after pic on their Instagram account and I just can't believe the transformation! I travel a lot for work and maintenance is hard but I love light hair so much. With Sam's technique however, it allows my hair to grow out looking natural. He does not pressure me into coming back and spending on unnecessary appointments, in fact he is the first hairdresser that encourages me to only come back if I want to! Such an honest and amazing salon! I'm a customer for life now!
