David, we wanted to thank you for the outstanding results you achieved on our behalf at your recent February & May auctions. We presented to you many treasured family items, and you have been extremely personable, trusting and very realistic with your pre-sale assessments. The auction results achieved either met or exceeded your pre-sale assessments for most of our items, and we are sincerely appreciative of the professional work and support you extended to us. We intend engaging your services again in the very near future, and we will not hesitate to recommend you to our extended family and friends. Many thanks Peter & Melinda
I visited David Freeman for help regarding boxes of items found in a recent clear out of my parents garage. These items included centuries old books, silver, jewellery, phots of antiques, old postcards etc. David was very clear in setting my expectations, and was very kind in spending 2+ hours with me at his shop in Bentleigh walking through everything and the options that were available for each item. His advice was also considerate in that where he saw items that could be of interest to the public he provided locations where specific items could be donated, and where his expertise didn't cover anything (shells!) he provided references to other experts. I felt assured of making sound decisions for each item after David's advice, and will certainly be returning to utilise David's services again. Thanks David! Appreciate it!
My favourite auction house. I've been going for 20 years. It never fails to deliver both selling and buying
It was a pleasure dealing with David; a genuine and honest man of rich knowledge in what he does. His collection is excellent.
Very positive experience buying from this auction house. I find David is a honest person from various dealings with him. I did buy quite a few good items from this auction house including some of my favorite items.highly recommended.
David is a pleasure to work with. We (Autumn Moves) have dealt with him on many occasions, when our clients wish to downsize and sell their treasures. Usually it is a stressful time for them and we have found David sensitive and honest. He gives an experienced indication of value and explains the process of sale. His auctions are well attended and achieve good results. We would recommend him highly.
Honesty, Integrity, Professionalism and respect for all -
You will be treated with the same courtesy, regardless. Don't walk in with an attitude, you will surely rue it. Here everyone is special. It's a community.
David Freeman, a gentleman and a scholar; very knowledgeable, he will patiently listen to your views. He is generous with his time and willingly shares his own thoughts, ideas and knowledge with you.
He is that passionate about what he does.
If you want a win-win outcome between buyer and seller, leave it to him to reach an agreement. Be upfront honest with him with your expectations and wait for him to get back to you. And he will. He responds very quickly.
If you are a seller hoping for a big outcome, you will get a reality check between what you wish and what the market is. But he will do his best for you.
If you are a buyer, be realistic too, especially if you are an absentee bidder. You will miss out if you think too low. If only.
Speak to him to get an idea.
If you put in a bid that is close to or higher than the estimate, he does not start the bid at that amount. Rest-assured.
Nevertheless, he will do his best.
But always talk to him. You must talk to him and come in to view the items, if you can.
If you stick with him, you will buy and sell right and not taken for a ride. Beware of the unscrupulous operators and auction houses out there.
Have fun
Thank you, David and Amanda.
And that lovely and effervescent character Mr. Ho.
Have a beautiful day.
Pack & Send Moorabbin can't speak highly enough of David & Amanda. Their professionalism and knowledge are outstanding and they are always a pleasure to deal with.

We had a house contents auction, which turned out to be a brilliant success. David and Amanda are true professionals, kind and very knowledgeable. We raised so much from the auction, it completely covered the cost of furnishing our new house. Not only did we have a great auction, we made two new friends.
I am a regular customer buying at Amanda Adams Auctions I have been buying from them for over 15 years - David has extensive knowledge and the service is great.
Mandy and David run a well organised and professionally run auction. They are very aware of values for individual lots.
They are friendly but always try to get the best possible bid on auction day.
I enjoy attending and will continue to do so.
Thankyou Ian Walker
Great auction room with friendly, knowledgeable staff and a fun atmosphere. Highly recommend attending their sales.
I had many dealings with Amanda Adams over many years and have always been very satisfied.
It is an interesting Auction House where you can find the interesting and the unusual.
Have been submitting items with Amanda and David for a number of years and buying at their auctions. David is thorough with his research for valuations. I have recommended a number of people to David and Amanda over the years and they have been extremely satisfied with their professionalism. I have submitted items over the years to many auction houses and have found Amanda and David to be the most realistic in their estimates and honest with their advice. Mike S
David has been valuing and auctioning donations on our behalf for over 3 years. Dealing with David is a delight. He is always happy to research an item and get back to me with realistic and honest value. There was one occasion where I took a vase to the bigger auction houses only to be told the item was worthless. The same item David valued at $80. The vase sold, to a collector, for $80. Eighty Dollars is a lot of money to a small op shop.
Recently our shop received a donation of a painting by a famous Australian artist. David felt that there was something not quite right about the painting. David was not prepared to put the painting in his auction until he had confirmed, from the artist’s family, its authenticity.
David’s integrity as a valuer and auctioneer is unquestionable.
I have recommend David to My family, My friends and Op Shop customers,
