The team at Altra Builders are amazing! I was lucky enough to work with them when building my first home this year. Rohan, Amber and the team made this experience so much fun. They were extremely helpful, enthusiastic, accommodating and professional from start to finish. No question was ever unanswered, the workmanship from Rohan and his team is fabulous and Amber's knowledge and understanding of what I envisioned for my home and the way she helped it come to life was brilliant. Their dedication, care and expertise towards their craft is unbeatable and I can not recommend them highly enough.

We discussed our plans with a number of local builders and eventually chose Altra to build a large extension to our house. They weren’t the cheapest nor were they the most expensive of the builders we spoke to, but they were certainly the most impressive.

From the first time he looked at our plans, Rohan suggested ways of making the building process more efficient. We also found Amber to be a fantastic communicator so we were never let down by lack of communication between the builders and ourselves.
Phone calls and emails were answered immediately. All of our questions and concerns - no matter how trivial - were dealt with patiently and respectfully.

We lived in the house during most of the construction phase. The Altra tradies always started work on time so we never had to become anxious about whether they were going to turn up. They were totally respectful towards us and our belongings and the comings and goings of our family.

With Amber’s help and recommendations we were able to source nearly all of our fixtures and fittings from local suppliers at excellent prices.

One of the best things about dealing with Altra is that we never felt that we were locked in to a choice made in the early stages of our build. For example, we originally chose to use engineered flooring but, at the last minute, we changed our minds and requested natural timber and Rohan and Amber accommodated that and other changes of mind decisions. Most other builders would have just said it was too late, but Altra always did their best to make us happy.

Rohan & Amber are lovely, genuine, family-oriented people. Their values are similar to our own and we found we got on very well with them, ensuring we enjoyed our building experience. We don’t think many people can say they enjoyed their building experience!

So, Amber & Rohan and every one of your amazing team, we thank you again for giving us a gorgeous, comfortable home that we are so happy with and proud of.

We are first home owners, we signed up with Altra Builders in Feb 2021. After being mucked around with a Volume Builder, we decided to go Local.

This was the best choice we made. We moved into our home just before Christmas, and we have loved every second of it!

The amount of choices you have is overwhelming as there is no limit … (Unless the limit is your budget) Amber was a dream to work with design wise. Her interior design skills are fantastic. She really understood our vibe we wanted for the house.

We do know the difference with what you can get with a volume builder compared to a local… We were about to sign with a Volume Builder, then all of a sudden put up the price of their site costs to pretty much “steal” the first home builders grant we were eligible for. Comparing experiences. People just don’t realise how beneficial it is to go local with Altra Builders.

Amber and Rohan are very creative, when there was a little bump in the road they were quick to think of a solution.

This experience for us was so positive and so personal, We will definitely struggle to leave this home if the time were to come! We can’t thank Altra Builders enough for all the hard work, they did for us.

We will definitely build with Altra Builders again.
