5 Great tennis courts centrally located amongst other recreational spaces. They are in good condition and ready for use.
Wheelchair accessible and kid fri. Good parking except on busy days when it’s sometimes more challenging.
All 9 of my kids have learnt to play tennis at Altona, Mark is a fair coach with great humour mixed with great discipline too.
Nice area. Lots of parks. Nice back drop for tennis courts. Lots of women playing at club.
Altona Tennis Club with Mark Peel is a great family club and a fantastic place to play and be around. Vida Tennis coach kids of all ages and I have never seen a kid leave without smile. Kids are in a great learning environment and have a great time with friends.
All the tennis courts are clay courts. This isn't bad, however the number of insects in the courts were terrible with dragonflies, mouths, flies, mosquitoes, etc. This only happens during the summer so don't worry too much about it for the rest of the year.
