I’m somewhat of a kebab goddess and always on the hunt for a good one. A friend raves about this place and being somewhat out of the way from my normal route, when I was in town I had to take up the opportunity of trying one.
Now let’s get back to basics here, these are your traditional kebabs. No turkish bread. No chips. Just good old pita bread with loads of meat. You’ll be asked what you’d like in your kebab including ‘extra garlic sauce’.
In under five minutes we had our meal which we devoured at home.
Located right across the road from the Altona Railway Station it’s ideally positioned for those hungry end of day commuters.
Good parking out the front. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Drinks available. Baklava also available (next time). You can eat in at small tables and read the newspaper.
I will return.

The kebabs here are fantastic and the staff are always very friendly, its fresh and great value - always ask for the turkish bread when you order. A+ Highly recommended

If there was 6 stars I would give it to this kebab shop. Authentic Turkish food. Everything is home made to perfection. They sell the best Adana in Melbourne. Their chicken meat is amazing and taste so fresh and juicy. Their Turkish home made bread is soft, hot and fresh. Excellent customer service.

Best Kebab shop in Melbourne with the most beautiful, family orientated people. Their food is as always delicious and freshly made by hand onsite. The couple who work there evidently work hard and are willing to go the extra mile for their customers. Big thank you!

I can't give anything above a 1 for tabouli that is drenched in sugar and inedible. It is supposed to be lemon juice, olive oil + salt. NO SUGAR!

As a Turkish person who is very picky about his kebabs I have to say that Altona Station Kebab without a doubt has the most delicious authentic kebabs/souvlaki in Altona/Williamstown area and in my opinion it is up there with the best kebabs in the whole of Melbourne. I have tried just about everything on their menu and everything has been absolutely too quality. The owners are also some of the friendiest people you will ever come across. I can't talk anymore highly of them.
