I was traumatised by the Indian Doctor Who didn’t understand me as a patient. I cried, and the manager was pulled into the room. Basically I was under so much distressed that I left the clinic crying outside of the clinic, and there was no duty of care. I made a formal complaint. It wasn’t even acknowledged by the clinic. Please avoid this unprofessional clinic

Incredibly great experience. I had a severe hearing problem which turned out to be a simple fix, that was done on the day with great care and expertise. Nursing staff (Kerry?) and Dr Sara were fantastic and have made an enormous difference. Thanks

The lady that answered the phone has the English capability of a 9 year old. Keeps putting me on hold as soon as I reach top off the queue and not listening

I was giving my identification details to the assistant girl in Altona North medical group for book an Appointment because I said it’s gonna be my first time! It was fine till the girl said sorry we can not take any new paciente at moment! I asked why and she said because we can not accomodate them! So Is that right?

When I'm for daughter having pain in stomach for last yr or so got told nothing to worry and go on your way. Medical practice needs serious attention

Said not taking new patients, even I asked that I am from regional Victoria and not coming again. Wanted just to get vaccinations for my kids very disappointed

- The waiting time for 2 out of 2 visits exceeded well over an hour
- GP forgot to hand me the prescription and was unable to do an e-prescription.

Won’t be coming back.

Really poor customer service from admin staff. Had requested information to be transferred to a new clinic and it was never done even after repeated attempts to follow up with clinic.

I am recovering from Covid 19. I cannot thank Dr Mukesh, and all at the wonderful staff at the respiratory clinic, enough for the outstanding care I have received. I have been a patient since 2001 and I am most grateful for the standard of medical care my family and I have received here. In addition, recently, when I was quite unwell, I would also like to thank Larry the pharmacist next door and his staff. Melissa at reception also went out of her way to look after me. Practice excellence all round. Thankyou.

I’ve always had a good experience at Altona North Medical Group. The respiratory clinic has been an invaluable resource and I’m so grateful to have access to this service. I couldn’t name a stand out GP, every one we’ve had has met us with care and compassion.

Didn't catch a health issue that was clearly identified in my blood work, so have been living the last 3 years in a fatigued haze. Working with a different GP now who actually listens to me and is interested in helping me find a diagnosis and solutions, rather than just being treated like a number.
Had another instance where I was having some abdominal pain and was told 'nah that's normal' - I know what's normal for me and pain isn't.

Oh my goodness, I came here for COVID vaccination, they are so organised, so good, excellent service and lovely stuff, they are working hard by their heart, what a amazing experience, many many thanks guys.

Doctor ok. Reception WOW. They are so special. They can't call me to let me know when the blood test would be in because they need to attend to 5000 patients first. Yes you heard, 5000. They need to replace the staff at the front that think they are a gift to this medical centre. Atrocious and rude. Never again.

PENSIONERS BEWARE! We made an appointment, told them my mother was coming in and needed a cortisone injection. I took her in, and we were put in front of a doctor who not only spoke to her like she was a child. The female doctor refused to read the notes from my mothers regular GP, then refused to give her the cortisone treatment even when she advised she was in extreme amount of pain. The doctor told her that she didn’t want to treat her and to go see another doctor if she wants that. This surgery then had the cheek to charge her $84. So not only was she required to pay for a doctor who refused to treat her, she had to then pay another doctor for the treatment. This place is happy to rip-off pensioners, it’s absolutely disgraceful!

I have been going to this practice since about 2010. I mostly see Dr. Kelly Morton but I also see Dr Janice Coleman and Dr. Jeanne North. Feeling important and listened to is such an important part of being a satisfied patient. They don't care how long it takes - they do what they need to to make sure you leave confident, reassured and equipped with everything you need. The admin and receptionist staff are all fantastic too and the ability to book online and manage it all without having to call is a great addition to the already fantastic, knowledgable and friendly service you receive.

If it wasn't for the doctors, I'd be giving a lesser star review. Today my partner went in to get a whooping cough vaccine because we're expecting a baby soon. He made an appointment, when he got there reception told him his appointment was actually 15 mins later which he had waited for. He had waited over 30 mins for his booked appointment and had to leave to go to work. They didn't even say sorry and made it his fault. Yesterday I had an appointment, I had to call to let them know I was there and wait outside. As we live less than 500m away, I walked there - so I would have to wait outside in the heat with no shade, at 8 months pregnant. I simply asked, after being 15 mins on hold so I was actually talking to reception 5 mins after my scheduled appointment, if I could wait inside because I'm heavily pregnant sitting on the only seat with no shade. I was rudely told that I could wait inside and the staff slammed the phone down in my ear. When the GP had signed and stamped my certificate, the receptionist was giving me rude looks for no reason.
Utterly appalling reception staff, going by the other reviews Im not the only person who thinks this. Lots of people are looking for work, why not give them the job!

I have been going to this clinic for a very long time I find everyone to be very friendly and obliging and my doctor Karen Alexander is the best. I had a condition and went to the Super Clinic which is bulk billed and saw 3 different doctors as I could not get in to see Karen to no avail they had no idea. Finally got in to see Karen and she took her time to examine my condition and try to find what the problem could be on the internet and prescribed some creams 2 days later it was gone. I don't mind paying for good services - so good luck for those that go to bulk billing clinics

We waited 1.5 hours in the waiting room before being seen. Abysmal. Doctor was adequate but not great. We will never return.
