Found this little hidden treasure after a friend recommended them.
Just like a huge Italian Deli with a huge variety of foods and items to buy.
Their fruit is always fresh and tastes yummy. They have yummy cakes too.
Worth a visit.

Best quality European food you can get around Melbourne shopping here is like your in Europe. Great meats, cheeses, pastas and selection of fruit and veg!

What a wonderful place to go for your international grocers. You will find everything and anything that will make your mouth water for more ️

The staff are super friendly and the sweets are tasty but the service is SO slow and kind of backward. I just went and ordered a pasty from the deli and seriously waited 10 mins just to order it, only to be told they wouldn't heat it up

Don't change a thing yous are amazing I love your jam doughnuts not too much jam it's a perfect treat I also love the range of pasta choices you have and so much variety to choose from im glad I found this store I will come back for sure

Simply outstanding! I absolutely love 2nd Ave Grocer. Fav items apart from the best fruit & veg are the croissants, gypsy ham, dolmades and the cheese bar! An easy 5 stars for the service too - feels like the good old days!

Service is often rude even with regular customers. The variety of products is good. Nice delicatessen and European products.

Asked if I was loyalty member and I wasn’t. Asked if I could be one and didn’t have any cards to give. Proceeds to ask when will they get stock and they don’t know. Her tone was pretty rude and wish she never asked if was a member.

My favourite place for all great foodie things. The owners & staff are awesome. The variety is enormous. I always find new and exciting things to try. A little expensive but you pay for quality. Love it.

We’ll known for there selection of cold meats and fine cheese. My fave has to be there grazing box! The perfect, easy solution if you’re looking to 1up your mates at your next bbq or potluck gathering. Also a great gifting solution, so long as the lucky recipient is willing to share?

Excellent selection of cheeses and deli options (the ham and salami options in particular are stand out).
This place has a wonderful community/family feel and my partner and I love coming here on a Saturday morning and selecting some of their beautiful produce when we have people coming round.

I have been shopping here for the past 8 years, since we moved in the area. We don't go to the supermarket, my 12 year old and I go to see John or Phil. We go because the selection is great and the people are lovely. The quality is leaps and bounds better than any of the major retailers, fruit & veg, cheeses, deli, bread and so much more.

Highlights are the deli, the cheeses, the tastings from various suppliers and the sausage sizzle on Sat morning.

It is also the way it should, like the old days, where people also meet other locals and the community feeling.

Absolute thieves and this isn't the first time! One price on the tag, another price on their system and when I pulled them up on this they corrected it supposedly so why does it scan differently again on the register without the price matching, weight nor the cost per kg? Check your receipts as they do it on a regular basis

BY FAR the absolute best place to shop in place of the larger chains! Featuring a combination of Imported and locally sourced produce, second ave is magnificent and a must utilise for all your grocer & deli needs!
Being a new resident in the West I no longer use the large grocers due to this grover being so fantastic.
The employees make you feel as part of the family opposed to just a customer!

This place. Good food, great service. All the groceries reminded me when l lived over in italy I just keep buying and buying the quality of the food is amazing let's not talk about the cannoli mmm with ricotta.highly recommend!
