Altona City Theatre

Great service, really fun shows, especially the pantomimes. Great value for money and real community feel. Great musical programs for kids too

First visit was to see Damian Callinan’s show Double Feature, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Operated by Hobson’s Bay City Council, this is a lovely intimate theatre just a few minutes walk from the main precinct.

Looks great from the outside, but the disappointing drawback is the foyer area which looks like a Council chamber/room, rather than an inviting arts/cultural space.

Still worth checking out for a small program of professional shows at a reasonable cost and community hirers.

We attended a wedding.
The ceremony was held on the stage and the attendees sat in the audience- what a wonderful way to do it.
The reception was in the foyer.
There was a massive grazing area, bar, dance area/dj, photo wall.

First time visitor to this great facility.
The standard of the set was amazing.
The seats were comfortable with room for people to move past. Most importantly, there was no "bad seat", all seats had perfect views of the stage.
The range of drinks and snacks was one of the best l have seen at this type of venue.
I was pleased to have the option of cash or card for purchasing my program.
Hats off to the Altona Theatre Company for a brilliant performance of the "Carol King Story. "
Can't wait for the next production.

A fantastic night at "Beautiful" exceeded my expectations. The singing and music and acting were all wonderful. Looking forward to seeing these performers again in their next shows.

Saw the Jersey Boy's production! Was very well done. Enjoyed ever moment.
The Theatre was quite nice.

Very comfortable and maintained medium sized theatre. Staff were pleasant and welcoming. Saw an production of Heathers. Great night out. Just saw great version of Jersey boys done well.

A great community theatre. The Bayside College production was exceptional. Many a great actors in the making.

Good accessibility for even the most challenged. Lots of parking and nice to sit on the lawn for a picnic. Mind the coffee Kya served bloody hot and tastes a lighter shade of muddy water (byo).

The seats were comfortable and the tiered seating means everyone can see the stage. Lovely theatre

Like all theater and live show groups they are narcissists and bullies they break OH&s as a Norm to there so call Professions i know i work in one of the largest stage company's in Australia and have delivered goods here also
