Altona Badminton Centre

I have been there for the first time. The vibe is given the professional feeling. During day time, there are a lot of school kids playing in.
The place is wide and they have changing room with shower.

Nice, sterile atmosphere. Hypnotically Asian. The drinks in the fridge by reception are strikingly overpriced and at the same time very easy to steal: another of god’s little tests.

Lovely service:) and good vibes, however, the disabled toilet needs modifications to be more accessible for people in wheelchair, some people find too difficult to handle themselves on the toilet, it's essencial to make the modifications on the bathroom, to improve the customer experience mainly for people who use wheelchair.

Good badminton only wooden courts which means no confusing mix sport lines. Nice sideways lighting but no curtains between courts but never been a problem.

Fun + well mantained place. You can also toggle your badminton game between Table tennis if you are visiting with more friends

Not a cheap court but in good form but the cleaner is rude and always try to close the court too early and never let us play until the end of what we’ve paid for.

This place provides good badminton courts. However, the smell and air quality is very bad. The price is two times more expensive than, say, Eagle Stadium. Overall, very old facility.

Always been a great place to play badminton for years and caters for all types of players. My only issue is the shuttles being used in the socials. The Epsilon green shuttles are not too durable and do not have much flight compared to a typical badminton shuttle from other brands like Aeroplane, LingMei or Victor that are of similar price.

Serious Lighting Upgrade is required.
I used to play at Ravenhall, now I play at BTTC Truganina yesterday I played at Altona.
Everything else is fine but I found it really dark as compared to BTTC.there was more stress on eyes.adding one additional light to every court would serious lighten this place up.

Unfortunately there are not many badminton centres in the Westside these days. This particular location has floorboards that are weirdly overly sticky at times and at other times slippery. Fairly inconsistent I would say. Also I think have a floor that one colour (e.g. Blue). Is much better than these floorboards at Altona. The good thing is this location has socials! But the bad thing is the shuttles they use at socials are bad. They feel light and are not durable. But beggars can't be choosers. So I continue to go.

Didn't go inside. Instead I was outside in the car park getting my nose swabbed for the plague. Tier 1. Tier 2. It's all a blur to me.

Wherever you just staring to play badminton or pro that going in a competition. Altona badminton centre is the place to be. Specially on the social you will meet many other players and can play with them. It's so challenging to play with others specially stronger than you it'll give yous trive to play more to get better next time and have another match up with them again

This place has been here since i was a kid and it is still in tip top condition. The prices are reasonable and seems quite busy most days as a result of that. They also give lessons to those who need it. Raquet sales and restrings are services they also provide. The lighting has also been improved as it used to be difficult to spot the shuttlecock with the bright fluorescent lights behind it.

Still a nice venue to play at. It's been over a quarter of a century since my first visit, but I still enjoy playing there.

I only have experience as a casual player, but the staff is friendly, there is always a court available and court and equipment rental is surprisingly affordable. If you feel like a game of badminton, just walk in, ask for a casual game and have fun!

Lighting was not enough, too dim. Floor is too slippery. Impressed by the high ceilings though. Bathrooms need a bit of an upgrade/Reno.

Ossm place to visit i really enjoy playing here players are really good experienced players and loyal too but i am afraid the coach is bit rude

I am.used to play at Msac and when compared to msac. The atmosphere in Altona is not great. But I still love it and go regularly these days.
