My nephew had a broken Velcro on his shoe, and was begging me to buy Kmart runners out of desperation! He had new Jordan’s so we thought we’d go to the local alteration place and see what he could do.

The gentlemen that worked there did it for free, out of the pure nature of his heart for my nephew. It’s nice to see people operating amongst our community who are kind and take care of kids.

My nephew was smiling so much that he got his shoes back after so long of having it broken. Little things.

Would definitely not recommend this service. I left my uniform giving them 10 days for alterations, went to collect only to be told he couldn’t do the job… same man had been original person to take deposit, details and receipt! Now no uniform for first day of new job. Better to find reliable and competent service. 0 stars

They always take up my pants perfectly and are very patient and helpful when I am trying them on and working out how much I need taken up. Always happy to let me pick up the next day, with only a small express fee. Highly recommend for taking up pants! I havent had any other services completed.

Absolutely exemplary service from the gentlemen at ALTERATIONS NOW Leopold. Sewed my boyfriends jacket pocket up immediately, knowing i needed to get back to work. He the waived the fee, just because!

I went in and asked if I could have my pants taken up and ready for the next day! The man was so lovely and said come back in 30 minutes and it was done. Couldn’t recommend them enough. I always go there! Amazing

3 rd experience with this company. 2 in geelong 1 leopold. 1st time cut way too much off jeans to below knee. Lady who said owned business was incredibly rude and finally agreed to give us money to purchase same jeans. They then cut the new ones same length and were unusable. We gave up and wasted our money. In leopold my husband got home (we thought leopold might be different) and they had given wrong jeans so we had to drive half hour to go back. When explained my previous experience man kept interrupting and asked him to let me finish twice. Then blamed my husband for taking wrong Jean and said why did you use our company then if not happy. Thought might be different. Will never use this company again. Both rude and inefficient. (yes my voice did raise when he interrupted me as I started to get angry they had blamed us yet again)

Had a coat shortened here. Stitching was terrible. Cotton colour didn’t match the coat colour and the “blind” hemming could be seen on the outside of the coat.
No wonder you have to pay first when dropping off garments to be altered. They have your money before doing the job.

I had a rather small repair job on a pair of jeans. The guys at Leopold were extremely helpful and was able to repair it on the spot.fantastic service, great prices, highly rated, 2 thumbs up! Give em a go!

Poor work, rude service, terrible experience. I had an item in for dry-cleaning and some simple stitching. It came back with really bad stitching work that a child could have done, and the suit had hairs all over it after being supposedly dry-cleaned - it looked like it had been dropped on the floor and not cleaned off. I went back to the shop to talk with the owner who was really rude and actually blamed me for the hair on the suit. He refused to admit anything was wrong even with the stitching which was really bad and obvious, and he ended up swearing at me. In the end it became heated and he threw $5 at me and told me not to come back! I've worked in customer service for years and never treated anyone as badly as I was treated by the male staff member / owner. If you want a professional and friendly service, go elsewhere.

I asked for school pants to be taken up. The legs were cut short and then hemmed. This does not provide room for a growing boy to use the pants once he grows. I was given some excuse about having to do that for the sewing machine. Never heard that before with all of the pants I have had taken up. Will never go back to this place.

I've had multiple items fixed up. These guys are quick and do a fantastic job, very clever and neat.
