Great quality care for office wear - I've taken several nicer quality garments for repairs and each has been professional, very fast and reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

I cannot recommend highly enough Alterations Now. I had 2 pairs of jeans each with a tear. Being from regional Victoria I expected to drop them off and return at a later date to collect them. Mahbou managed to repair both jeans saving me another trip to the city. Also the repair job is barely noticeable. Customer service at its best

Worst alteration shop I’ve been in Melbourne. The lady is very rude and keeps alternating between prices. It’s a scam. And the response from owner is a complete lie.

She mentioned she would charge $15 for each Shirt/tshirt to tighten the hand and especially give a good price if I bought more than one. I went there with four clothes and she was charging me $25 for each.

I am a long time customer of Alterations Now and I would not go anywhere else to have my clothing altered! Mahbou always looks after me even with the most complicated request, her prices are reasonable. She has years of knowledge and use to be a dress maker a believe. I cannot recommend enough!

Referred on from a clothing store to here. Stayed open at closing time to meet us however can mimic the experience of other posters and found her very rude.

$85 to have some suit sleeves taken up, cash only. Openly called us rude and difficult when we went to pick the suit up after we initially questioned the value with the price.
Acceptable workmanship but wish we had gone elsewhere.

Mahbou knows what she’s doing! I went in to get a pair of pants to fit me and now they’re perfect. Definitely coming back again:)

Went to see Mahbou 2 weeks ago, she helped me transforming 3 pieces of clothing that I never thought I would be able to wear again. The outcomes of Mahbou’s work were amazing. The lady there did a good job on my vintage windbreaker and she negotiated a fair price with me job was good well done and fast.

I really liked the service of the place. The owner mahbou is a beautiful and hot lady. She's very welcoming and always smiling. I have given my couple of pants for the alteration (although it was my first time). Felt little nervous, how they gonna do it. But the outcome was very nice. Even she has offered that to bring the pants whenever you feel like to change the size.

The only thing which made me feel lil uncomfy was, they use the pins to size it down rather than a measuring tape. Maybe it's kinda of an easy technique I don't know but didn't felt right. Since when you start to punching down the pant with pins several times there would be a multiple tiny holes (which may lead to the tear in future).

Very pricey as well but this is Australia.so, ain't no complaints!

I've been here a few times, the service is pretty good but really pricey. I went in 5 minutes before my scheduled collection time and my job hadn't been started. So considering the time put into the job, I don't think the price is really worth it.

I had a very disappointing experience here. I dropped off a leather dress to a get a new zip, as the pull part had come off, stating that it was an urgent job. The owner wasn't there in the morning so I left my number and was assured of a call back. At 3pm I called her and she told me she'd have a look at the job, and it would be complete by 6pm.
Later on she called to say it was in fact, a much larger job, and would take longer than a day. We agreed i would pick up the dress that afternoon.
When I arrived, the zip was unpicked at the bottom, rendering it completely unwearable, and in a vastly different condition to what I had left it in. Unhelpfully the owner was not there at the time again. I will never go back to this venue, appalling customer service.

Added two new pockets to my favourite pair of pants (which didn't have any seams on the side) and they look great! It was also finished before the quoted time which is fantastic.

Mahbou did a fantastic job when I came to her to fix my pants at the last minute. Even though it was in the middle of the Christmas rush, she she made the time to help me and turn things around super quick. Not only this, she is calm, always smiling and charges a reasonable price - particularly for the quality of her work. Thank you!
