Alterations NOW

I dropped off three pair of jeans with a fourth pair as sample so they can match the length. All three pairs came back 5 cm shorter than the sample! How is that possible? Won’t be going back.

Completely unprofessional and rude, they messed up and alteration for my grandfather and my mother went in to try and rectify the issue, but was met with ignorance and rudeness from the lady there, then she proceeded to call her husband “the owner” and put the phone on speaker phone, then proceeded to abuse the hell out of my mother, and said “I can speak to you however I like, I don’t care” this is absolutely appalling and disgusting in fact especially because they knew all this was for a funeral and was met with such horrible behaviour, I do not recommend this place at all.

No-one answered the phone.
Never got an email back.
I can't complain about the service because there was none.

My daughter bought a dress online and it arrived on Friday night to be worn Saturday night. We took it to Alterations now where the very helpful employee outlined our two options and the cost of each. She had the job done in 2 hours. Happy Mum = happy daughter who looked beautiful in her altered dress. Would highly recommend.

IDropped my dress for alterations and was told will get a call tomorrow for details including cost for alteration and will be ready for pick up tomorrow aswell. Next day rang after awaiting for message/call, was told come tomorrow as early as possible for pick up. So I went at 1030 but the tailor said she can't do it (not to blame her as she was there for 1 day) anyhow she agreed to pick up at 1 as she isclosing shop at 1. Picked up dress while she was closing shop. Could not try it and it ended up being very loose. Spoiled my child's first birthday for me. Also this whole scenario of fixing dress happened because it made me cry in front of that tailor and she felt bad for me and did job but
ot done properly.
I would like to give you guys minus 5 if possible.
I will never recommend this shop to anyone.

I am not one to ever write a negative review but the way I was treated I think it’s only right to help others avoid the same thing. Absolutely disgusting service, I took my fiancés wedding pants to be hemmed. They cut miles to much length off after I told her twice when she was pinning them, instead of listening she said yep yep and thought she knew better. When we picked them up and said they were too short they were so rude and argued saying They hem where they think not what we think because she has 18 years experience and knows better. 18 years doesn’t mean anything if you can’t listen to your customer. When I turned around to leave another lady was waiting and said she gets it’s because this is her 3rd visit too. I now have to pay for a new pair of pants. Don’t bother responding to my review because judging from your other reply’s you are always right anyway. I won’t be using you again and I will let everyone else know not to.

Had my jeans taken up from here and there were two problems - firstly, they were still too long. Secondly, the new hem came undone the first time I wore them. I returned them to the store and asked politely for them to be taken up again, but they said no, I would need to pay for them again.
I questioned this, and the girl serving me said she would call her mum to ask what to do.
Her mum would be back in 10 minutes, she said. So I went to another shop quickly and returned in 10 minutes. But the store was closed and everyone had gone home.
Terrible service, terrible quality. Will never return and would not recommend.
(I also chatted to the Westfield service desk about this and they took note of the details, and said they had some other complaints about service from here too. She suggested an alterations place in Marketsquare instead, which is much friendlier, faster and cheaper!)

Edited to add - Thank you for your reply, however I don't appreciate being made to feel like a liar after leaving an honest review. I have attached a photo of my jeans hem, which has clearly come undone. This is the reason I came in on Saturday - to show you this and to ask for them to be hemmed again. I also showed these to your daughter, who saw them and I'm sure can verify this. Perhaps if you had have stayed the ten minutes as we discussed, you would have seen this for yourself.
Others in your review section have also commented on the same issue - that their pants have also come undone after being altered by you. So clearly not the first time in 15 years then.
I won't be contacting you further about this. My point has been made.

All the fashion shops in Westfields Geelong recommend this place to have alterations done, ie, shortening jeans etc etc, claiming if you show the docket it is $15 a pair, only when you get there they end up charging $25, and i have to wait 2 days! If I had of had the shop organise it, it would have been $15. Absolutely not going back, and have reported it to center management, it is misleading and deceptive conduct and should be closed down.

I came to get my jeans altered and Alterations Now did an amazing job, the jeans fit my waist perfectly. I definitely recommend them!

Got the cutest masks for myself and my siblings, there easy to breath, they had many options and designs and the order was done the next day.they are 100% cotton and even the kids didn’t complain wearing them on our bike rides, so I’d say job well done and definitely worth it due to other masks i’ve seen that don’t even fit the general face.

I purchased masks from this organization in Geelong. I paid $63 for 4 masks! When they arrived they did not have the expected elastic behind the ears, they went over the head which would not be good for long hair. Sent them back the same day I received them asking for a refund. Aust post says parcel delivered 11 days ago, but lady says they have not received them. She is very rude and not at all trying to rectify the problem and still denying they have arrived.
PLEASE BEWARE when buying from this company. Very rude and unhelpful indeed

I got an expensive dress dry cleaned from here and once I took it out of it's packaging a week later to wear to a wedding, I discovered that the navy colour had run into the white trims on my dress. I took it back and was greeted with rudeness and hostility, the lady even blaming me for wearing it and that it must have been my sweat making it run! I was belittled and made to feel stupid and told there was nothing they could do once it left the store. So warning to all, make sure you thoroughly check each garment before leaving the store! I doubt they would have claimed responsibility anyway. I will not be returning.

After less than 4 months with my new work pants shortened, the hem came undone. 2 pairs, not one. I take them back to Alterations now express baycity/westfield Geelong and the lady says "that will be $15 thanks". What a joke. Dishonesty business practices.
