Alteration Excellence

I was reccomend to bring my clothes here by a trusted friend. I brought 7 pairs of pants (including one pair of shorts and a skirt) and had them all brought in at the waist. They fit absolutely perfect now and I will come here for all of my future alterations!

Always impressed with the quality of work by alteration excellence. I have been going here for years and Trang is so pleasant to deal with.

Did not do what I asked for and now new jeans with labels still attached unwearable
300 dollars down the drain

I needed a leg on a pair of trousers re-hemmed. Staff instead to appeared to just cut the leg to length and sew the very bottom of the leg with rough stitching making the bottom of the pant leg look damaged. Very confusing as doing what I had asked would have taken far less effort and would have looked much better.

I have been visiting this business for 5 years for my alteration needs. Absolutely amazing work!

I had a wedding to attend and needed a relatively quick turnaround for getting my new suit tailored. As a local that frequently shops in this shopping mall I found this place, which had very mixed reviews with their negative ones primarily for their customer service.

I took a punt on them as I was there to get my suit tailored and not to make a new best mate. They did an exceptional job and got it back to me in a couple of days at a competitive price.

I'm really pleased and will be back if I need any tailoring in future, for pure convenience, a good output and good value.

This place is supposed to close at 6 pm mon-fri. I arrived to pick up my clothes at 5: 40 and there is no one at the store.

Excellent customer service. Been going to this Kiosk for my alteration needs for the past 3 years.

Lady was rude & abrupt, all i wanted was a zip replaced

the sign says all items to be drycleaned, i dropped of my item straight from the drycleaners with the hanger/receipt/plastic wrap last friday

when to collect my item yesterday, the item was just thrown on the counter!

i advised where was my hanger & plastic wrap? No answer given & reluctantly the item was put into a plastic bag

only used them as they are close to work, will not use them again

Does all the usual things like replace buttons, mend, hem etc. There is a small booth that you can change in to try on your pants pre and post hemming.
Its located just inside the complex that houses the Woollies supermarket - immediately oppostove the pharmacy on the ground floor

This was the worst customer experience I have ever had. She was extremely rude, didn’t take the time to listen & showed an aggressive nature when I tried to speak with her calmly. She didn’t offer a solution to the error she made & turned me away.
It was a horrible experience & I would not recommend this business to anyone.

The best alteration place I’ve ever used! I use them for mending clothes as well as tailoring items to fit perfectly. I’ve taken expensive pieces there and they come out beautiful. It’s great to find a place you can trust completely. On top of that, they are super friendly and they remember my name which makes me feel like a valued customer.

A clothing alterations place like this is quite rare to find. Located at Kiosk 4,111 Cecil St, in South Melbourne Central, Alteration Excellence offers a great and reasonably priced clothing alteration service. They alter and repair hems, skirts, pants, embroidery and zips, and they also do bridal wear alteration. I had a pir of jeans and hirt repaired there and did an amazing job. They do take pride in their work. Definitely recommend!
They're open 9: 30 to 6pm weekdays and 10-4pm on Saturday and conveniently located in South Melbourne Central so you can drop your clothes off while shopping at Woolworths or even Aldi across the road nearby. The centre also has a convenient carpark via Market Street which gives you the first 2 hours free. It's perfect!
