Alpine National Park reviews
24Beautiful place to visit for either hiking or mountain biking in summer or skiing/snowboarding in winter or just a get away in either summer or winter
If you love nature, if you love snow, if you know rocky mountain, you will simply live Apline NP
Amazing place! I have 4wheel drived over 3 days of this place and I only feel like I just touched it! Must do. Make sure you do 4 wheel drive rather then the all wheel drive tracks as you can get stuck behind someone that can add a hour to you journey
Extremely beautiful.a lot of attractions and places to see. Shame about the fire season though got moved on pretty quickly due to smoke from close by fires. Would definitely go back again and would recommend visiting before the summer fires start.
Fantastic views,
Victoria high country is one of the best places in the world.
There are plenty of camp sites, mountain, walking and hiking trails also nice 4wd tracks.
And Alpine is the of this park.
There are always something to enjoy from snow to swim.
You just need to make sure to check the weather and. Be prepared.
Hours and hours of fun. Still a little pricey but you can’t beat the time it takes to get here from Melbourne. Spring skiing if you are lucky enough to have enough snow is amazing. No crowds and blue sky days.
Visited Mt Wellington and Millers Hut. Great 4WDrive. There is camping near the Hut but no facilities, you need to take everything. Track to the Pinicals lookout was closed. Will check it out next time we are up there. Hut is in good condition, top door hinge needs fixing. Wired up to help it close.
Amazing national park! Did some backcountry skiing and snow camping near Kelly's Hut and pretty Valley poundage. I cannot get enough of the High Plains. Definitely worth a day or couple nights out!
One of the lovelyest place to visit winter or summer! All sorts of winter sports and lots of things to do in summer as well!
Falls Creek is magical in winter with snow covered trees and streets, some places you can can ski in and ski out, with the right conditions, experience walking from place to place at night with the lights reflection off the snow.
Pay attention to the next happy hours as hunting around the streets is such a beautiful experience.
Children freindy mountain with lots of thing for the kids to do! And day care available and a school for the locals.
Roads can be closed and also access to parking also can be very disappointing, check ahead of time other wise you will need to take the bus with all your gear to get on the mountain.
$132 day lift tickets adult, and magic mid week deals 3 day lifts for price of 2 $250+/-
Absolutely breathtaking views, Stunning native flora and Fauna. Peaceful, Tranquil and in general just beautiful
First time to the snow in a long time! Had the usual hiccups that you would expect for a novice. Staff are friendly and quite helpful!
The Great Australian Divide is the 3rd most expansive mountain range in the world, next to the Rocky Mountains and Andes!
Nice convenient place to go to the snow. Great when you get off Burke st/Mercedes and get away from the crowds.
Mt Buller is an amazing place to ski or board with many choices of blue and (easier) black runs and many restaurants
Very fun place to go. If you want to do alot of activities book online otherwise you'll get bored in a way.
Wild and diverse. Wonderful change of seasons evident in the landscape. Beautiful streams, birdlife, wildflowers and trees changing up to and within the snowline.
Enjoyed some very lazy skiing with a glass of wine at thd bottom of the chair. Loved it as a blizzard swept in and dumped another metre of snow.
Beautiful place for snowboarding and skiing. Absolutely worth it even though the price is a little steep. Definitely recommend!
Fabulous place, unique Alpine environment you will not find any where else in the world. See it before we have no.more snow.
