Generally a good store except that staff jump on you before your eyes have adjusted to the light. I had one bad experience where the sales assistant disagreed with everything I wanted. I asked for 20lb line, he said "If you're going surf fishing then you need 30lb" I was second guessing myself until I asked for star sinkers and he picked up the 4oz sinkers when I knew I needed 6oz. The final straw was when he sold me a pack of 3 traces but when I went fishing there was only one. What happens to "the customer is always right"? Even if the customer is wrong, there is a delicate way to tell them. I'll still shop here when I need to, but customer service needs to improve. Maybe the store layout needs to change so it's easier to find things, but it could just be that the sales people don't give you a chance to get your bearings.

These guys recommend and sold me a surf fishing rod and reel combo for under $100, my first fish was a 56cm Salmon cough at my new special spot on the Ninety Mile Beach.
