Incredibly disrespectful staff asking teenage girls to exit change rooms while half dressed.

My daughter and I shopped at Ally on the evening of Friday 8th September (3 days ago)
at about 7pm. The shop workers were helpful. My daughter texted me from the change room to tell me there was a rude woman near her in a change room. The woman (with 3 girls) had loudly objected to being politely informed that it was shop policy to have one person in each cubicle. The shop worker was admirably calm under fire. But when she politely asked to check the lady's bags when the lady was about to exit the store, again the lady was loud and rude, also telling the shop owner to F off. Being calm in the face of rudeness while working in retail is a skill. My daughter loves this shop - not just for the clothes, but also because feels welcome and valued by the staff.

I went in today (8/9/23) at around 7pm and witnessed a very rude customer. My sister was in the changing rooms and I was waiting outside when the younger staff member said politely to three young girls in one change that there is only allowed one person at a time. Their mum came over and asked what was wrong and when the nice worker explained politely again (even apologising) the women started getting very rude demanding there be a sign. The worker got the older staff member and she said the same thing nicely and the mum got rude again. The staff member handled it very well saying she was just following store policy and not wanting to argue about it but just letting her know what the policy is. The mother kept demanding there be a sign and even said to her to get head office to call her about it if that’s the policy. I felt very uncomfortable around this customer and I think people should have common sense to know that there should only be one person per changing room no matter if they’re kids (13 year olds old enough to know) or not. It is a health and safety issue and no staff member should feel they have to jeopardise their job when a customer is being very rude. I shop here a bit and have always been greeted nicely and they always ask if I need help. It’s a shame there’s some really rude people out there that don’t respect retail workers.

My friend and I were just looking around and they asked to do a bag check, which I found offensive as I didn’t do anything wrong and it made me uncomfortable that she thought my friend and I were stealing. I have been in there many times before with a bag on me and they never asked before. I’m never going in there again.

Hi, I’ve been going to ally fashion for a long time and I love the store and I’ve never encountered anyone being disrespectful to me. However today, as I was getting changed with my friend we didn’t realise we weren’t allowed to have more than one person per changing room as it’s not advertised anywhere and we’ve never been told before. So as we were getting changed a worker named Anita (possibly different spelling), told us in a very rude and condescending tone that we weren’t allowed more than one person. In reply we respectfully apologised and said we we’d get changed and move. However she proceeded to ask twice more as we were still getting changed and following her instructions within a 5 minute span. She threatened store ban and we felt extremely disrespected and mistreated because of our age as teenagers. We hope this behaviour doesn’t continue to others in further.

Best clothing shop ever you should come!

I placed my first 2 orders last week, the first order was accidentally left as shipped to the store so i immediately contacted Ally Fashion to have the address changed to my home address. This was updated by a lady called Cara.
A week later i get notification my parcel has been delivered to store, i emailed and said this was supposed to be updated and that i cannot come pick up as I'm 2 hours away.
I got a rude email from a lady called Josephine saying my parcel will stay there until i go in store and pick it up and they will not ship it on to me.
I ended up with a refund and am still yet to receive my other order which will be my last.

Sara made my experience in the store a very comfortable and comforting experience. She was honest, helpful and attentive. Need more people like her. See you again soon!

Best shop I have ever been to. Amazing customer service! I was in a really big rush and didn't have anything to wear to a party I got the best help and came away with 2 tops and a skirt. Highly reccomed going there if in doubt of what to wear to a special occasion!
