Allied handled the selling of our house and the purchase of a new apartment.
We were new to selling and buying as we lived in our, now old, house for 54 years. We were a bit apprehensive of how the process will happen. Settling the house and buying the apartment on the same day, meaning moving out by lunchtime and moving in in the afternoon was very daunting.
But our fear was for no reason. The whole process was so smooth that it was like a dream. Allied was friendly, prompt, efficient and very professional. They kept us informed throughout the process.
We would recommend Allied Lawyers and Conveyancing to anyone in need of a conveyancer.

One negative. The advertising price is $ 600 but with all the additional costs it came to $ 1600. This should have been told in advance.

Allied are experts at what they do and their clear communication and patient support throughout the process helped to make a very smooth sale. Highly recommend.

I have been a loyal client of Allied Lawyers & Conveyancing for over 20 years. The are clearly a 5-star business, however my most recent experience with Karen Nettleton took this to the next level. Karen's responsiveness, professionalism and communication was exceptional. I would rate them as 10-stars now.

Disgraceful! A year ago I sold a property in MtWav and on the recommendation of our (otherwise good) Real Estate Agent used this company for the conveyancing. Their service was at best shoddy, and I wrote a review of one star to reflect my experience.

Now when I just looked back it has gone! Not only that, I recall their rating was a low 3 and now it's jumped to well over 4. My conclusion is that they have succeeded in having several of the other scathing reviews removed.

Just a quick summary of what I complained about at the time - They couldn't communicate with both of us selling the property - they demanded payment for services already paid up front, and when receipts were finally provided (others had complained of the same issue with Allied) there was no apology - on the day of settlement they urgently required bank details to lodge to payment, which of course had been supplied right at the beginning.

My advice is to look elsewhere - you are unlikely to do worse. And Google - if you wish to remove reviews at least do the courtesy of contacting the writers to get verification - I could (and still can) provide details of the lack of service.

I was so pleased with how easy the process of selling our house was made for us by the team at Allied, most especially Karen. Her patience and guidance made for a very smooth sale. Every question was answered almost immediately and I was kept update with every transaction as it happened. I would definitely use them again!

Slow to reply, inefficient, and weak work ethic when it comes to helping first home buyers purchase a property.

Really gave me and my dad a hard time when moving into our new townhouse, especially towards our settlement date.

Despite us sending one of the conveyancers an email, and a complaint regarding his poor work ethic. Instead of acknowledging and cooperating with us to resolve our issue.

He threatened to discontinue his services and ask us to find a new conveyancer, despite a week before our settlement. Yet alone having to wait almost 3 years to settle in due to impacts from Covid-19. Yet being so close to finally moving in, he threw a tantrum instead of wanting to work with his client.

Truly unprofessional. Would not recommend this particular branch at all.

(Not sure why they removed all the previous bad reviews. My one happens to be the first after the purge)

Great experiences with Allied over many years selling and buying multiple properties. Jeremy Taylor, James Taylor and Julia Hutch are so easy to deal with. Got my Section 32 and Auction contract done in less than 2 days. They are the best and make the process very easy. They always have time to answer my questions and provide expert advice. I’m very thankful to have discovered this company and would not use another conveyancer. Highly recommend!
