We have had Wayne install or repair 4 AC units both in our residence and a rental property, over a 7 year period. We have always found his work to be of a high standard, reasonably priced and completed in a timely manner. Photo shows the most recent job, a whisper quiet unit that replaced an old noisy Akai system in a bedroom. Would certainly recommend Wayne.

Wayne is professional with great time management. My family has had Wayne repair and replace our heating and cooling systems for over 12 years. Even after, personally moving away from the inner suburbs, we still continue to use Wayne to service our split systems and central heating.

Wayne from Allgas and Air-conditioning was punctual and was able to promptly diagnose and repair our central heating unit at Caulfield North after it broke down in the midst of winter. Great service.

Rude and arrogant. Seems to think it's okay to always block our driveway while he works on the nextdoor premises. We are a business and need our driveway open to deliver and receive orders. Is that too much to ask?

Said they would order the ignitition replacement part before coming. Came with no part and charged for an “evaluation” when we had already got it evaluated TWICE prior. Wayne said he would come as soon as the part was ordered - lied about it not arriving (we called the supplier) and then cancelled and tried to postpone our appointment to fix it. Glad we got proof of his lies on paper with their company name and signature on it. Do NOT hire this company! Owner was extremey rude and making up 100 excuses on the phone. What a waste of money and time.

Wayne has serviced our old gas hot water system for a number of years and last week replaced the 30 year old system with a new one. He worked for 5 hours in 40 degree heat to get the system replaced. Excellent, prompt service with a quality result. Thanks, Wayne!

Well I’m just sorry I didn’t read reviews before calling Wayne (normally I don’t read nor believe them but let me assure you in this case they a 100% correct) how this guy is still in business astounds me. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Totally disappointed! In good faith I internet searched a Gas Tradesman to service my elderly mothers gas heater, spoke to Wayne who seemed very approachable and keen to help out. The result was far from that! The gas heater was visited and worked on three times over a 3 and half week period parts replaced and to no result as the heater was " Unrepairable" and needed to be replaced due to a faulty heat exchange etc. The manufacturers were contacted by the tradesman during the process and advised that the heater was not repairable! A visit by the manufacturers service technician had the heater fully working and operartional in 1.5 hours after fixing a myriad of ridiculous mistakes by an incompentent tradesman! So dissapopinted and to boot a over $400.00 bill to be paid by the above mentioned so called tradesman!

Disappointing result with this company.after coming out three times and attempting to complete a previously simple CO2 service on a gas log heater, the tradesman advised the heater was not working and verbally quoted a repair bill of around $3,000. He stated not to use the heater and it was omitting CO2 emissions. My mother was not prepared to pay this amount and so the result was a bill for his quoted services of $429. My (86 year old) mother reluctantly paid this bill (she was disappointed as the heater was working before he arrived). The tradesperson did contact the manufacturer and they sent out someone else to have a look at the heater. This company spent an hour in which time they cleaned the heater and put the parts back together correctly. This company stated it was working perfectly and that the reason it wasn't was because the previous company had not put the heater back together correctly. I rang the owner Wayne Compton and asked for some portion of a refund as he clearly had not completed his job correctly and he said he flatly stated no and it was now fixed by another company. Would not recommend this person at all he doesn't seem to have a clue as to what he is doing.
