I think I came on a bad day - because the coffee was not good at all.
In the past it's usually some of the best in Melbourne - just not today.

Edit - $10 toastie and coffee specials is retired now. Paid $14 today for a small coff and toastie which is still a reasonable price. Veg toastie is tasty as ever.

Nice option for a casual work lunch with combined $10 toastie and coffee specials - what a deal! Veg toastie is wonderful and flavourful. Will keep you full but fresh through the day.

Went here for takeout breakfast snack and walked out with a breakfast brioche roll, yum, will be having that for breakfast again next week. Went back for lunch for some healthy stuff and juice. Excellent attention to detail with the cooking and presentation.

Ham and cheese croissant was average but the orange juice was freshly squeezed and delicious.

Just ordered a cappuccino and from most reviews here the coffee is the best. It is awful. Very bitter and burnt.

Tasty food. Friendly service. Politely accommodated three rowdy kids in an otherwise peaceful cafe!

Had a lovely lunch there today. Great staff and atmosphere. Had a delicious matcha latte I drank too fast to get a photo of. Coffee was high quality too. The Japanese curry was super delicious.

No toilet facilities. I was asked by a Chinese female barista to go to hawthorn station - which surprisingly does not have any toilets too. 1/10 do not recommend - especially if you're planning to sit and have your morning coffee there.
