I had a faulty Gainsborough Classic internal door knob set. The style has been discontinued. I could not find parts or a replacement set anywhere. I contacted Gainsborough, their customer service staff were very helpful, was told to go the warehouse. Bill, in the warehouse was very helpful and found some old parts which was needed to fix the problem. Great customer service.

Emailed a request via the warranty address on an important (and priority) matter regarding a faulty main entrance door set - Three days later and not even an acknowledgement of the email, let alone assistance. A call to the customer service line was of little use, "can I give you their email address" being the reply, even though I had already emailed per the web site details. If the rating could be less than one star then I would give it, based on current experiences.
A very disappointing lack of after sales 'duty of care'.

My grandmother has been looking to replace a door handle which had become faulty after 13 years, manufactured by Gainsborough / Allegion. For almost a year she had tried every shop within 50km without a lead. After visiting her and getting in touch with Allegion, not only did they reply with a prompt response but also sent a replacement part to our door! (haha).

Cannot thank Bill in the customer service team enough, she will be telling all her friends about the service forever. Small things like this make another persons whole year.

They really need to sort out their order entry and pricing at the moment, so many mistakes and orders they are just sitting on

Very impressed with their customer service - spoke to Tania who was knowledgeable and helpful about a problem with a front door lock. She informed me it was under warranty and requested an email be sent to them. Received a call from their locksmith - Dale within the day informing that he would come out the next day. He came as promised, was courteous and professional - quite frankly I have never experienced such a high level of customer service.
Congratulations to Allegion for putting customers first!

After a wasted visit to Bunnings to buy a replacement screw set for a Gainsborough door handle I rang Gainsborough direct. The assistant couldn't have been more helpful. I explained one of the locking screws on an old door handle had come loose and the middle cylinder had been lost - probably vacuumed up. She asked how many I needed - I said two sets meaning top and bottom screws - she said better get 3 sets. Anyway I got 3 sets each of 4 screw sets in a jiffy bag posted out all at no charge. I fitted the two I needed this weekend and they were exactly what was needed. Pleasant, knowledgeable and prompt customer service - and all conducted from an Aussie service centre. Don't change anything!

Emailed them on Tuesday about a part. Got the right part delivered to me within the week on Thursday. They’re in Melbourne. I’m in Perth. This is OUTSTANDING service by any measure. Thank you!

Dont buy Gainsbourough if you want to buy more handles down the track as they delete lines.l have been renovating, done half the house in a door handle 10 months later they no longer sell them.
