All Weather Windows

I had a window and door done by this company and the lead time blew out by weeks and the measurements were wrong and we had to knock down and redo the brickwork to make them fit, the company accepted no responsibility and now we have an order that later almost 6 weeks late and the worst part is they don’t return phone calls, literally
I don’t recommend you use this company

3rd full house order with Allweather.
This order has been Problem after problem. Salemans all coshy until order was placed. Problem in production caused delays and they didnt have the courtesy to let me know there would be a delay. Problems with windows and door after installation detected only after plastic removed. Appointments made for onsite service with delays up to 2 weeks then they dont turn up at the agreed time. Render done, plaster done, am about to start painting.

Called office whilst waiting for late service person, put through to VM. Called back and get hung up on 5 times. Still no call back. Job at stand still.

Call back received 1hr after the appointment was missed. Aparently a 7am meeting was called last minute, all customer appointments missed with no notification. Was advised they will contact me again at some stage to let me know way forward. Job remains at standstill.

Serviceman arrived 1hr later. Problem can not be resolved at site.
Im now told the 5 faulty windows may need to come out.
Service guy says what a stuff up. How did this get through.

Update: just spent 20mins on the phone with the owner yelling at me, The Customer. The only solution by Allweather is to glue aluminium strips over the problem areas being short cut visible extrusions. That's it. Covering up the poor workmanship.

Beware. What is in the showroom does not match what was delivered to site. And you have to pay, INFULL before delivery.

Never again. Extremely disappointing.

7 February.
I am forced to accept a work around fix, glueing aluminium strips over the affected areas. Allweather will only do the work on a weekday. As a contractor in IT (doing an owner builder renovation) I will lose a days wages to be on site on a weekday to let them in.

Their poor quality is now costing me more.

Update 14082019. A year down the track and the main sliding door is showing signs of more poor workman ship. When the wind blows outside the window squeaks. Have resorted in jamming cardboard packers in to stop the squeaks. And the frame has gaps which lets cold air in. NEVER AGAIN. Third and last order with these clowns.

Update 28082023. Received reply 26082023 from what I can only assume is marketing. First and only contact since my review. Windows are stiff, window winders rusty. Never received an apology for the POOR customer service or POOR quality.
I did not have these issues with my first 2 All Weather orders for my first 2 full house renovations. Something clearly went off track with this company in 2019. I WONT be back. The owners behavior was disgusting.

Fabulous customer service and great after sales service. Also excellent product. We will order more windows from them. Highly recommend them.

It took me a while to find someone willing to do my slightly tricky window. I am happy to say All Weather Windows took the job and did it without flaw from measure, order and installation. The lads were on time and professional. Job done in 90 minutes. I can highly recommend AWW to all.

Very disappointing customer service. Have All Weather Windows throughout our house which are compliant to AS2208, but stickers have been removed. Company is unwilling to email statement that their glass is compliant because the glass may have been changed since installation. I then said it would be acceptable to put this caveat in their statement i.e. That the glass is compliant provided it has not been changed since being installed and they were still unwilling to help. So disappointing that they were so unwilling. This attitude came as a complete surprise. Have their money and no intention to help post sale. We were thinking of placing sliding doors in the house as well going out to a deck, but will not be going to All Weather Windows for this - will stay well clear.

Engaging, customer focused service from the moment I walked in the door. Great product range. My quote was competitive. Production done exactly on time. Manufactured to the highest standard. Client communications excellent during the process. Mine was a simple solid timber door replacement installation. It looks great and functions perfectly - letting a flood of new light into my garage. Awesome company to deal with, very professional and friendly staff and prompt in replying to messages. We placed an order for Stacker doors which was delivered before the estimated delivery time, Michael and Vis were very helpful in organising these custom built doors for me. The installers were great too, Eddy was very accommodating, they even cleaned the area after installation which I was very impressed with. Highly recommend this business if you are planning to have customised doors or windows installed.

We worked with AWW 17 yrs ago and again just now - still great service, price and timely production. So good to discuss the best window for your job. We were after a bifold for our kitchen servery, Paige suggested a gas strut window and it's perfect. Very pleased to support a local business & jobs - our window was made on site in the factory, just around the corner. The after sales service was fabulous & we're delighted.

Shocking. Lies, misleading & deceptive conduct, held to ransom unless additional monies paid - and the job is still not finished over $200,000 and 2 years later. Further updates to follow and happy to elaborate if you want to know why you should give this company a wide birth. Yes, there are some good reviews, but I 100% regret taking the chance.

UPDATE 1: 24th August 2018. Received an email asking me to pay $157,000 (on top of $40,000 deposit) because windows were being delivered on Thursday 30th August.
After negotiating we agreed to pay $137,000 - because the windows were being delivered on Thursday 30th August.
Early the next week informed that my windows CANT be made. And they have $177,000 of my money!

Maybe Darren should return at least one of my communications - email or phone.

I contacted the company to have a very tight opening sliding door fixed. Was asked to pay the cost to repair (incl cost of parts/ rollers) up front which I did. On the day, I was told it could not be fixed as the ceiling has dropped, thus causing the the door to be tight. Took no more than 15 minutes to assess the problem.
Given that the big task of fixing the ceiling by a builder, I opted not to do anything. The company refused to reduce the prepaid charge, claiming that they are prepared to return to fix the door after I fix the ceiling. (after I told them that I am not going to do anything about the ceiling)
Lesson learnt! Beware! Its the first time I come across a company that charges for work upfront and refuses to reduce the charge when they end up doing nothing to fix the problem.
There are many other reasonable companies out there that can do the job I would think! I thought it would be the right thing to contact the manufacturer of the door to fix the problem. Obviously I am wrong!
They already have your money!
