All Bargain Car Rentals

If u value safety and reliable customer service, I would not recommend this rental company, especially if u need the car for more than a couple of days.

Their price is certainly a bargain, but I suspect that the cars they rented to me were not checked properly/ regularly before leasing, which may be required for older car models.

Customers' experiences may vary but here's mine -
1) Picked up the first car and started hearing different loud noises coming from the front of the car/ engine compartment within 10 mins of driving it.

2) Got a replacement car that worked fine until the 3rd/4th day when I was driving quite a distance away from home. In the middle of the trip, the engine started vibrating violently and the orange engine icon appeared on the dashboard. The issue persists even after I restarted the engine. I hurried to parked at a petrol station and had to pay for an Uber to get home.

The next day, I remained cordial throughout my communication with the staff, and even rented another car from another company to drive to their office and hand them the car keys since they claimed to be unable to access the faulty car without it.

My frustration began when I asked for a cancellation and refund, only to find that they were charging me for the day when the car broke down, as well as the day after. As I have already informed them that the car was faulty and unsafe to be driven, I disputed the bill.
They eventually agreed to refund the charges for the day after the break down, and will waive the estimated refuel price of $59 (half a tank of fuel was used).

I asked for the charge for the day of the breakdown to be waived too, as I couldn't go ahead with plans due to the breakdown, and even had to pay for an Uber to get back home.
My request was denied on the basis that more than half the day went by before the incident was reported.

What was most infuriating is that the staff made it out like they were doing me a favour for not charging me the refueling fee on the faulty car. They actually implied that I got more out of it, since the refuel charge ($59) would have cost more than a day of rental.
The truth is, because of the faulty car, I ended up paying close to $80 - the Uber ride home and the day's rental, which they insisted on charging me. Not to mention two days of cancelled plans due to the incident, which really defeats the purpose of renting a car.

Having gone through a stressful situation with little assistance, it was topped off with terrible customer service. Not a single word of apology or an explanation was given throughout the process, despite leasing out two faulty cars. Frankly, no one really seemed to care. A shockingly disappointing experience.

Returned a car earlier than supposed to, no any troubles. Very friendly staff. Car in good condition, clean, run well. Thanks to everyone at All Bargain Rentals!

I highly recommend All Bargain Car Rentals. Visiting from QLD, I hired a top notch little Toyota Corolla for the week. No problems with car. The whole process was easy. When I returned the car a week later I was impressed when they gave me a lift to the train station to set my on my journey back to the Airport Thanks Blake.

The folks at All Bargain Car Rentals were terrific. When other car rental companies couldn't help, this company was able to provide me with a vehicle for an emergency need. The service was great and the company was easy to deal with.

I was looking for a bargain car rental in Melbourne travelling from overseas.
The staff couldn’t be much nicer and more helpful whilst satisfying their requirements for address proof, etc.
If you are able to pick your rental from a non-airport location, choose those guys.
The vehicle whilst slightly dated (in comparison to popular rental brands) had everything you need for travel in Auss and the rental cost was ridiculously low.
No problems with extending the rent (I miscalculated the days) at a relatively short notice.
Great before and after sales service, good, well serviced and reasonably priced car!

Last minute Ute hire before Melb Cup weekend. Had a modern Hilux cab/tray available for a good price with 150kms per day included.
Happy with my experience.

I needed a car a day before Melbourne Cup weekend and Matt was so helpful organised one for me. On returning the car, there was a cut on back tyre side wall which I did not know how it happened as I did not hit anything during one month rent, Matt was kind enough to waive it and returned the bond fully. The whole experience with ABCR was hassle free and the car was well maintained, I definitely will use their service again.

I hired a car from here on the 10/09/22-13/09/22, upon pick up I took photos of the dents/damage it had, and was told there was only 1/2 a tank of gas bring it back with the same (which is hard to judge) so I bought it back nearly full. I was with Samantha who went out and inspected the car, I was watching her go around quite thoroughly, and she came back into the office and said everything was good and they would return the bond.
Later in the day I got an email that said they had moved the car to carwash and found damage, she then went on to say in a second email “ that the cameras could vouch that the damage was there and didn’t occur in the period between return and final inspection being carried out”
I knew the car was returned undamaged and when I said I could get video footage from across the road where I had put petrol 2 minutes earlier, I received another email from someone called Matt apologising as “they have reviewed video footage and it shows a trailer has reversed into the car moments after my returning it”
The emails received from them completely contradict each other, and have left me wondering if they were trying to scam me out of $500 which they asked for, for repairs.
Renters beware, and take after photos as well as before ones.

I had to make a last minute booking and was accomadated very quickly. Then wanted to swap to a smaller car a few days later and Blake made the whole process so simple and was so easy going about it. Cost is a 3rd of what you will pay elsewhere so definately worth it. Thanks for a great experience guys.

Have rented twice with them for over a month during both lockdowns of 2020/21 and found them pleasant and professional, i'm not always the easiest operator to deal with so I appreciate them helping me out at a pretty critical time.

When able to rent a car, van ute the product and service is 5/5 lately though they never seem to have anything available. Been going else where and haven't bothered now even checking for availablity

Fantastic place to hire a car.very good prices and very easy to deal with. Had my car in for repairs so needed a car for a couple of weeks to get back and forth from work. This was more than ideal for me as I didn't want to pay a fortune to the bigger car rental places.highly recommend them for there price and service

Will quote you for a vehicle that is not available, waste your time and offer no alternative quotes. The "cheap rentals" are a disingenuous method of getting people interacting with their company, followed by the need to requote entirely due to "no availability for that option. "

If you can't do it, don't quote it.

I want to say thank you to all barging car rental team. Epecailly the customer service lady, I made a last minute call on last Friday morning.she is very professional and take my difficulties in concerns, and get a car ready for me in about 10mins. After a week, we communicated with her about the repair scheduled had been shorter. They also let me return the car early. Thanks for the great service guys

I would totally recommend to rent a car here! I have had rented one of their cars for more than six months and I didn't have a single problem. The customer service is also excellent. If you are looking to rent a car, don't think much about that, just go to All Bargain Car Rentals!
