Great central location. Our room (3) was very small but was clean and had all we required. Would suit single person not a couple. Access to verandah was great. No air-conditioning though.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Alexandra Hotel. It is a lovely old pub in a fantastic location. We stayed upstairs in room 2 and really enjoyed the outlook from our room and the fabulous verandah. Very comfortable and well appointed room. We will be back, thank you.

We had a lovely overnight stay at the Alexandra Hotel. Our room was cosy and well fitted out wiith excellent fluffy towels and a very comfortable bed. Thanks to the new owners Chris and Suzanna who are doing a great job.

Great place to stay in the center of town. Great rooms and cosy balcony. New proprietors are helpful and welcoming. Will definitely be returning.

Contactless check-in was super easy with the instructions given to us and our rooms were already warm when we checked in. Both rooms had direct access to a beautiful old veranda which we used for breakfast and sit and chat. We spent two nights at the hotel and from here had easy access to the Great Victorian bike trail and walking in town. There was a bike lockup for our bikes and a charging point for the batteries. Despite being on the small size our rooms had newly installed ensuites and thick towels and the beautiful Dindi bath products which are made in the area. We also had tea making facility in the room and access to a fridge and microwave.

My wife and I undertook the Great Victorian Rail Trail in winter and to arrive at the Alexander Hotel was wonderful. The room was beautiful and cosy, the service friendly and the food delicious. Not a huge menu choice (being a Wednesday) but this was not a problem with ample options (including great wine list) enough to satisfy us after a day of winter riding. Lots of friendly, sustainable touches in our room made it special. Our bikes we’re secured overnight for us and we appreciated helpful local knowledge and tips. Thank you Jackie and the team.

Great place to stay. The staff were lovely. Beautiful building with lots of character. My room was very clean and comfortable. I really appreciated the bike storage facilities. I didn't get a chance to try the food but it looked great. Hope to come back again soon.

We took the bedspread and matching pillows off the bed as they didn't feel clean/crisp and felt as though they don't get washed each time? We stayed in Rm 2, we aren't overweight but i think if you were, in the bathroom squeezing between the toilet and the basin would def be challenging! It's small but the character and veranda makes up for it.

Location and facility were good. They provided us with complete amenities. However, the room was dirty, most furnitures were so dusty

Beautiful rooms, great food and friendly service. Loved the atmosphere of the whole place. Sadly we didn’t catch the name of the manager who looked after us but she made our stay lovely - genuine kindness to guests and staff. Highly recommend!

The room was surprisingly comfortable with added touches of small luxuries including complimentary home made biscuits, a snazzy water bottle and good selection of teas. I would be confident to recommended this Hotel to others.

Lovely hotel with amazing hosts that made our stay so enjoyable! We had an amazing dine in dinner experience, and our room was styled beautifully and cosy!
We made use of the balcony, a beautiful time!

Highly recommend the Alexandra Hotel. They catered our 45th High School (HSC) reunion for 20 guests with drinks on the balcony and dinner February 11,2023, and brunch February 12,2023. Plus, we booked the hotel out for 2 nights. Rooms were clean and charming. The balcony was lovely to have drinks on. The food was excellent, and they also catered for coeliac disease (gluten free) and vegetarian. Jackie and the staff were very accommodating to our needs, and it was a lovely weekend. I would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay in Alexandra - have stayed there a couple of times when up fishing. Rooms are nice and comfortable. Excellent soaps/shampoo etc provided are very good quality. Love the large towels/bathsheets as well. A visit to the restaurant is a must - such good food. Highly recommend when in the area.

Stayed last week and it was a petite comfy room, just enough room for the 2 of us. Liked the communal lounge with access to purchase snacks and cans of softdrink. Cute courtyard also. Didn't get a chance to eat here as the kitchen was closed, maybe next time. Will be nice and cosy in winter!

We loved our overnight stay in Room 6 at Alexandra Hotel. The bed was comfy, the fan kept the temperature pleasant and the furnishings are lovely.
We would plan to stay longer next time, Alexandra is a nice town
