8Please do not eat here if you are celiac! I called this afternoon and ask them if their chicken and chips were gluten free. She just said yes. I’m like are you sure there isn’t bread in the stuffing and she said yes there is bread in the stuffing that’s it, I said I get very sick from gluten. The Greeks before knew this and was able to provide it for me so I thought maybe the new owners would be able to do the same. My dad picked it up an order that evening after 15minutes of eating the chicken and chips, no skin or stuffing to be extra careful. I was in severe pain and vomiting. Please do not eat here to other celiacs. Bring back the Greeks.

Craving a charcoal lamb souvlaki after a Chadstone shop, a quick search took us to Alektor and it was as good as any suburban feed I’ve had.
A warm, friendly welcome amongst a steady stream of locals. I had the lamb, partner had the mixed. Very generous in portion, the mixed was better! $33.80 for both.
Would go back if I were local.

So good to come back here again and again and again. Always spot on. Best souvlaki. Period.
With three people in the shop I waited for five minutes to be what I thought to be served. Next minute a guy walks in stands in front of me at the register and gets served first? Lucky I was having a good day and shook my head and walked out rather than start a confrontation.
Best souvlaki I’ve had outside of Greece. Highly recommend this place - delicious food, great prices and fantastic service. Highly recommended!
