ALDI Wendouree reviews
62 Always find Aldi is worth going to.
If ever there is a problem with anything you might buy and you want to return it, there is never a problem. It is replaced or refunded immediately. Thanks Aldi
Remote control car perched smells like it was burning, got a replacement witch was great, until the replacement did same thing, got a refund.
If l had not watched the boy play with the car I'd say it would have court on fire
Great place my only concern is that the trollies are far too deep. I prefer a shallow one as it did hurt my back. But otherwise all good
Everything I needed was there
Great price's which is helpfull these days with the government screwing us all over LOL
I tried to shop at ALDI but find the whole experience very frustrating. The checkout queues are extremely slow and they always wait until the queues are too busy to open another register.
Today was good. There seemed to be the things we needed. Sometimes we find shopping on a Friday not so good with empty spots where product should be. I would suggest shop Aldi first then to Coles or Woolies to finish your shop. Despite a dramatic increase in grocery shopping, Aldi still remains cheaper.
Good prices. Friendly staff, like most places stock issues but not to bad. As usual you never know what hidden gems you might find at aldi so I always try to check the centre tables.
Usually good pricing, some stock issues, but the fun part is checking out what bargain you can find.
Great. I've always loved Aldi.
Still the same place. Though prices have gone up a fair bit.
Great value for money, especially for families on a budget. The range of products is limited compared to the big brand stores, I was dissapointed when they removed their Mamia baby formula range, but I have used Aldi to do 90% of my weekly shop for years.
Good example of Aldi. Has everything you need.
Some goods not a available due to pandemic supply chain issues.
Large Carpark. Big enough shop. Neat store. A lot of different products to choose from and getting more brand names in store
Went Wendouree Aldi today and was refused one bottle of wine because i had my two girls with me. Yet the lady in the next isle had daughter younger and was buying multiple bottles and spirits. We complained to staff leader and he says its up to each teller. What garbage. Vic Aldi policy says under 18 cannot buy. I wont be back ever, to your store
Aldi Alfredton usually do not put on enough check out staff, often customers standing in one long line. Like many other supermarkets they need an express checkout.
A good place for every day essential items at a low price. I like the no-frills shopping where prices aren't inflated by loyalty schemes and extensive advertising.
I've just come home from shopping at my local ALDI where several adult shoppers were not wearing facemasks. When I queried this with the store manager I was told that an instruction had been issued to all staff by head office not to challenge or refuse entry to anyone not wearing a facemask. Hang on. I thought this was a legal requirement (in Victoria) and that there were legal penalties for retailers who do not enforce it? Certainly ALDI's attitude is very different from Bunnings where recently I was refused entry because I had left my proof of double vaccination at home. So ALDI, if you can't be bothered caring about my safety I guess in future I can't be bothered shopping in your stores.
Look it's ok, the prices were less competitive today but that's a sign of the times. However easy, lovely people there. I recommend.
Always cheap prices and unexpected interesting products. Never a bad word to say about this place.
An Express Lane is well over due. It's so frustrating & anger inducing standing behind 3 or 4+ people with full trollies when you only have a few items. They have people out the back who can work on them (when it gets extra busy with people lining up they call for register assistance. These people are out the back, getting paid any way- put them on the registers full time). I'll have people in front off me with full trollies - they'll turn around & see I have only a few things on my mobility walker, & maybe 1 out of 10 times a person will say I can go thru in front of them. Come on Aldi - open more registers & open an Express Lane. You'll get more business out of it too. I've walked in so many times to get only a few items, see the checkouts, &walk straight back out&go to Coles or Woolies.
Good store needs security though. We are on COVID restrictions and they let this feral bogan of a woman walk around the Wendouree store without a mask and she was free to swear at and abuse any customer who called her out on it. Nobody even checked to see if she had been granted special permission not to wear one. Not acceptable, these Karens should not be allowed to step inside supermarkets unless they respect the rules like everyone else has to.
