ALDI Moonee Ponds reviews
44Store isn't as clean a other competitors. Prices are a hit and miss on being cheaper to Coles and Woolies. Big deterrent to shopping here is they charge a small fee for card transactions. Competitors don't. Out of principle I don't support a store that does that.
Aldis are great and this one has everything in order, nothing wrong
also seeing the employees being allowed to sit always makes me happy
i dont go often but ive seen/gotten eren a couple times and he's always super nice
Don't mind getting my bag checked but getting asked like I'm being served by a passive aggressive policeman is another story. Fair enough if I'm being rude or have done something wrong, But I just want to do my shopping and get home. Aldi please review you cashiers professionalism
ALDI: Location: Moonie Ponds. Clean and Tidy place. Great place to purchase that bargin Price Food and Cooking wear. Purchases a Pressure Cooker. Has to be the early bird.
Update as of May 2023: Stock situation has improved a bit but not significantly.
Great store with promisingly inexpensive groceries compared to other competitors.
Highly motivated staff, always serving with a smile and cheer.
Unfortunately, the store is severely understocked given the large quantum of population it serves to.
Many multi storey apartments in the area have severely led to frequently staples being out of stock. This level of empty shelves for some staples are quite common on weekends.
Hope the store management quickly catches up with restocking issues.
Eren was amazing help today absolutely sensational Customer assistance. I had a query about the special buys and eren was extremely helpful. Service with a smile️
Bought a wine cooler fridge, great value at $299. Also love the quick microwave meals great value for money
Gotta love Also never fail, great prices great staff stop 20 tram 109 or12 stopping at the door lol.
This Aldi is hard to find if U don't already know where you're going. The entrance is in the car park, near the escalator from the Kmart/Spec Savers side of the centre. Other than that, it's a regular Aldi with regular Aldi stock. Although I find that maybe because residents in the Moonee Ponds area have higher disposable income (therefore spending at different shops) this Aldi will normally have stock of items that have run out at other Aldi's. But you still need to hurry, the Brunswick store sells out of stock (across the board) very quickly, then those shoppers move on over to Moonee Ponds
Don't mind getting my bag checked but getting asked like I'm being served by a passive aggressive policeman in another story.fair enough if I'm being rude or have done something wrong, but really I just want to do my shopping and go home. Aldi please review you cashiers professionalism
A good atmosphere in store. Always plenty of specials if thats what you want. Polite people on checkout.
Centrally located, with plenty of undercover Parking, Aldi Moonee Ponds offers a broad variety of Products, ranging from Groceries, Washing Detergents, Eletrical Appliances, Toiletries, Beverages, Wines and Spirits and a whole lot of more goods.
A definite place to go to if you want value for money.
I don't normally give negative reviews but the customer service I received this morning was abysmal.
A nicer Aldi, specials tables torn-thru BUT not as torn-thru; veggies & specials seem better here than my local.
I used to live in Adelaide couldn't believe that prices are cheaper than Melbourne
For example prawn at Aldi in Adelaide cheaper than here in Melbourne
I can't be fair because the trolley wouldn't give me my coin back and i got unreasonable grumpy.
Discovered this during Covid lock down, when shopping for the elderly. I would describe this as a small grocery store with all of the essentials.
Misleading price tags. Original $1.79 tissues place a $0.95 price tag of another kind at the same stock shelf, both are of very similar packaging. You won’t realise it until you are at checkout when shopping in hurry.
Service good got through register pretty quick brought to a nice carpet from there reasonable price the store is always clean and staff always busy
Excellent, Thank you to the cashier, for being very understanding towards my 95 year old Aunty, she mentioned how nice and polite he was
