Albert Park Mini Golf reviews
29 A really fun time with the kids!
Paul was extra helpful and the amenities are great!
-Fun
-$25 for an adult
-Mini golf deals
-Friendly staff
-Bit worn but still a fun mini golf course
-18 holes
Would NOT come here if you’re not a kid. Seems like an afterthought of a golf course. There is a distinct lack of obstacles and creativity to the construction of the courses, most if not all of the obstructions can just be hit around. Great for kids but perhaps should be advertised as such.
Perfect Place to be with Family for Father's Day Celebration on a Sunny Day
Staff: Staff was helpful sorted out the Entry in 5minutes as we pre-booked the tickets
Golf Area: Nice small area with many play options, enjoyable with kids.
The Dinosaur exhibits were also making sounds Haha.
So much fun, no rush rush and understanding people around.
Good place to spend 1-2 hours if visiting with family and friends.
Nice open place with seats to have a drink or chit chat
Has metered Car Parking
Very nice location with lake nearby and rowing club and training centre.
Pro Tip:
Not many food options nearby, so plan for it in advance
Cons
1. Not enough coffee or breakfast Options if the Room is booked for Birthday
2. Wish there could have been a Staff Person overlooking people there, as I saw one Guy really getting rude with Kids That's not appreciated at all.

Very expensive for what you get.
The person was very helpful in the golf shop.
Not so in the 19th hole cafe.
Bought 3 ice creams and was told they had no change- cash. They wanted me to go and get change. Then informed us in a most impolite way that they do not have cash in the cafe. While talking to us the person serving was sucking on a lollipop- the stick hanging out of her mouth. So Rude.
No customer service - it was truly disgusting.
Cash is still legal tender.
Would not recommend.
We just had our son's 8th birthday party at the Albert Park Mini Golf. We specifically wanted an activity that blends outdoor play and indoor activities and this was perfect. We had been to the mini golf area previously for a play and the animals and dinosaurs made my children happy.
It was hands down one of the easiest party I had ever "organised"! The package included everything from the club room, cake, decor, food, game and a host for the day. We turned up 20 minutes before the party commenced and everything was ready. While everything was included, we also could bring our additional '8' balloon and non-candy party bags. We like the flexibility when it comes to this. They also assigned a staff at the drinks area to make coffee/tea when requested (additional cost, not part of the package) for the parents. Included food like nuggets, muffins and beef pies for the children were plentiful.
The host and event manager, Lisa, was fabulous. Communication via email with her was great as everything was in writing. Everything was transparent in the email. On the day, she kept everything running smoothly and on time. She made managing 19 children looks easy as she guided them through the game despite the rain. While waiting for other guests to arrive and at the party wrap up while waiting to be picked up, she also got indoor activities ready to engage the children.
We look at this as another future party option for next time. Just so easy with the all in package and the host!
Serviceable as far as minigolf courses go.
There were cool dinosaur statues which is a must-have in any respectable minigolf course.
4/5 stars,
Thanks Oscar.
Best mini golf in Melbourne by the picturesque Albert Park lake. A family tradition everytime we come stay in town.
Hey, it's not bad.
The discount via Groupon was a great deal.
The 18 hole course is not the type with many moving parts. It's just the basics with a few obstacles, tubes, holes and a dinosaur theme.
Good for young kids.
My two buys loved getting their "sword" to have a hit even got two proven holes in one the Mrs was scoring so have proof!
I think they enjoyed the jurassic theme mostly.
Evening shading is good.
Definitely recommend.
Don't ask for coffee. Apparently can't do coffee. "can't do coffee mate, I've got 4 phone calls to answer" To make matters worse the 19th Hole Cafe was closed.
It was a beautiful summer's day, perfect day for getting polverised at mini golf by my youngest son! Nice surroundings and great afternoon outing for the family. Admission was reasonable as was the cost of food and drinks. The ladies in the Cafe' were friendly and funny too. Just be wary of the parking. I got fined, my own fault as there is a sign warning you to pay for parking. My bad.lol
The entire AP-G staff is very friendly: Paul, David, Angel, Chucky, Sam and others make it very accomodating and inviting! Just recently had the opportunity to take some little cousins to play Albert Park Mini Golf - and wow what an experience! The little ones couldn't stop laughing and jumping around ecstatic over their putts and facing novel themed mini golf holes - especially when they got to AP's take on "Jurassic Park" with dinosaurs towering above them as they navigated through those holes. Definitely a family-friendly golf course for both young and old - perfect with tables for picnics - there's something for everyone at Albert Park Golf - And with very competitive and reasonable pricing - I'll be returning as often as I can for golf and taking the little ones for mini golf whenever they're on holidays - Well done Team-AP!
Quite expensive for what you get. The practice area is the best-maintained in the whole course. Would benefit very well from some TLC, picking a single theme and a café with proper food.
Fun with smaller kids but we’re not going to be rushing back.
Hi, I am just wanting to let you know that we played 2 games at mini golf today and how wonderful it was. We were there in June/July and played several games while staying at the Pullman with our grandson. One day there had been vandals in over night and it was a mess. You have done a beautiful renovation, a credit. I Hope you have no further attacks.
We've had a terrible customer experience at Albert Park Mini Golf. Our son's catered birthday party was cancelled by the company 3 days prior to the party date, we are still over $250 out of pocket and have tried for days by phone, email and in person multiple times to speak to the manager. We are yet to have any form of communication attempt responded to by the manager.
Wonderful place for kids and family… nice little mini course, well maintained.it was lovely experience for the kids
$59 per person package was robbery! No 'gourmet buffet meal' or freshly cooked anything as advertised. Food was the cheapest kind of bun and patty with a lettuce leaf, served on a disposable plate. Mini golf course was tired and run down. Toilets didn't have soap or way to dry your hands. Don't waste your budget on a function here.
Great mini golf for kids ages 5 and up. They need to know how to play a little as it's not easy (or maybe I am just bad at it). Good 18 hole course with various difficulties.
Parking around the area is less then desirable but if you come early in the day I reckon you will be ok.
Those positive review is due to free mini golf games offered for those who post review. I can't imagine how badly these mini golf course was designed, this appear to money making machine. That how I see it. Lack of planning and creativity.you are better of with holey moley, although bit cramped. Or drive to Dingley, curlewis, derimut better designed park. My son just left after playing hole 9-10 as the course are repeatative. No fun at all!
