Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit reviews
20Great spot for a Grand Prix! Nothing there yet - building the circuit starts in January. We were there inspecting the site for the Historics which will be in V8 central. 60 cars will be running on Thursday, Friday & Sunday. Place looks a picture.
What a thrill to be able to see the site of the Australian F1 Grand Prix
even though they were not racing. It is one thing to see it on TV set up for the race, but another to be here and recognise the layout in person.
Actually most of the year we call this Albert Park was there riding my bike not quite as fast as a F1 car.
Undoubtedly one of the best circuits on the Formula One calendar. I would say that Adelaide would still be a better option for the Australian GP, but I still enjoy watching the race around here.
Bought my Dad a few laps in a V8 Supercar, and he was grinning ear to ear the rest of the day - great experience and well organised
Two star just because they make you pay premium charges for parking on Sundays- whole day. Even though the whole area is empty. People should be encouraged to visit the park and facilities. Greedy
Excellent experience. The city has the transportation to and from Albert Park down to a science. First class organization.
Awesome, Awesome and great to spend it with my family as i live 4 hours away and have to rely on public transport.
Unfortunately it's a street circuit like Singapore. You may drive a bit of the circuit. But no gift shop
Loved it. Need get a grandstand if you really want to see them. If someone wants to shout me a Paddock Club access I’ll not say no.
Wide and large!
If you're a fan of Formula 1 you should not miss this event. This circuit fully functional world class experience for the better F1 race with beautiful of surrounding area of pond and parking area.
Recommend to use metro or Uber to access to this place to avoiding the crowned but if you have a car can be parking on the other side that provided.
Great day out at a reasonable price, with access to the centre of the circuit. As it was a pretty warm raceday the bars were busy, I was happy to find a pre-mixed bundi and coke in a can. We found a good place to get up close to the action on the final bend before the home straight and all of a sudden one of the cars came to a smokey stop right before us, very exciting! Carlos Sainz was not a happy chap. The Marshalls did a good job in getting people onto the busses and trams very efficiently after the race.
The circuit is a year round open and public access road, except for the short time surrounding the race. The road follows a slightly different layout to the racetrack & is signposted at 40ks. Bollards are staged at locations along the start/finish area.
Great day out for the whole family. Great there early and line up at Melbourne walk if you wants some autographs.
Great place to experience F1 and Grand prix races. Has plenty of gates so less hustle at entry points. Turn 2 and 3 are great for seeing possible overtakes and unfortunate crashes. Though the best way is to enter from Gate 2 (if u are not booked at start line grandstands) and travel ur way to all the gates up until reaching gate 1 at the end of the day. All the turns hold a special place. Between turn 13 and 14 u can see F1 at their fastest. Turn 5/6- photography and epic view. Plenty of food spots during the events. Great car show case and other cars sprintraces (2019- Jaguar f type). Overall a great place to spend some time with family or friends.
Amazing! You must have seen this. It's an amazing track. The Aussies are well happy and great fans cheering for Dani Riccardo. Great man. I love F1 and if you got the chance to go there I definitely should. It's a dream. The Track is sponsored by Rolex. And it's even greater if you see Sebastian Vettel ein here.
I've been here many times for the Australian Gran Prix. The circuit is awesome and the venue is absolutely fantastic. There is plenty of on track and off track action to keep you entertained like car displays, concerts and so on. Merchandise and food and drink stalls are everywhere around the circuit. I've always paid extra for premium grandstand seats along the main straight. Depending on the gp advantage membership you have being gold or silver. You will have access to walk the F1 and Supercars paddock on the Thursday, along with access to the corporate viewing platform above the F1 pit lane. GP members have access to the GP advantage bar along the main straight. Personally it's the best spot to watch all the racing as well having your own seat for the whole race meeting. Keep up the good work Melbourne, see you next year.
I loved the grand Prix circuits here. The park is awesome too. It has a nice scenic view of CBD. The buildings shadow in the lake is awesome in Albert park
Love the Melbourne Grand Prix, lots to see and do even if youre not that into formula 1 racing. Good selection of food this year, transport runs suprisingly well for the amount of people that attend and its a great day out.
This is one of the best Melbourne icons and one of the best f1 tracks around the world set in the heart of Melbourne this gp weekend offers you a great day to enjoy the surroundings and everything it has to offer the v8's are great to see them thunder around the track and scream past you the roulettes are a must see as they do all sorts of tricks the f18 hornet that flys around is incredible the shear noise of this jet is amazing as for the f1 race you have to see it as it only happens once a year and you wont be disappointed as it is sit on the edge of your seat kind of race so come on down and enjoy this fabulous weekend
