Do not answer the phone. Left voicemail with a request for a callback on warranty issue 7 days ago. No reponse. Called again today. Again no answer.

How does this place make money? They NEVER answer their phones!
Called multiple times a day for a week to try follow up on an order - rings 5 times and then straight to message bank! Email replies are just as bad, if you manage to get one at all!
Terrible customer service!

I called Gerhard with a warranty on a jockey wheel, he helped me on the phone and had a replacement on its way with no fuss. Top bloke and 5 stars for this company

Purchased a new Jayco Van 8 months ago. ALKO jockey wheel fitted. It became really hard to wind up and down, so did some investigating. The Trust Bearing at the top had fully failed and rusted out. It has no grease in it. Where I purchased the replacement bearing the guy was saying that ALKO dont put grease on the bearings. So replaced and fully packed with grease. Runs way smother now than when it was new. Also made a weather cap to fit over the winder handle so as to keep the weather/rain from entering the top of the jockey wheel into the bearing. It still rotates with the handle. Just a suggestion to grease the top bearing in the build. Cheers

Rang to follow up an email after initial phone call in relation to a warranty claim only to be put through to a line that doesn't answer or have the ability to leave a message. Rang back the receptionist and given the old Covid excuse for no response and too send another email. If they can't respond in 2 weeks how is a new email going to be any better?
These people are using same phones and computers just not from their Dandy office so how does covid affect their ability to read and respond to emails?

Had a problem with one of my alko springs, I emailed regarding my issues and Craig sorted it out in literally no time at all, very pleasant experience that showed a high manner of professionalism.
10/10.

Spoke with Shane at Al-ko to look for a part number for a wheel cylinder for my trailer. He was helpful and found the part number pretty quick. Thanks Shane

Had a problem with my electronic stability control. The local van repair shop quoted $300 +, then they didn't want to do the job.
Called Alco one of their technicians, Chris Pulley, great bloke, called, arranged to call to my van site the next morning. Didn't have the part came back that morning and fitted it still a problem needs a new module. As I was leaving that day he offered to post it to me.
How much do I owe you?
Nothing pleased to help.

What a change a year can make.what used to be a great company has now turned into one of the worst in service. ALKO no longer cares about customer service at all. The small trailer repair companies that used to be an important part of their business / customer base are no longer important to them. Such a shame to see a good company fall so far. A note to your staff in customer service: if you don't like dealing with customers, change your career. Your attitudes are horrendous.
