Excellent middle eastern groceries and café.
One thing to be careful with (expiry date)!

Love Al-Alamy for bringing Middle-Eastern items to North Melbourne. One thing they could improve is to price everything to avoid us wondering what our bill may be.

I found everything I wanted and it had the best service, they helped me carry all of the groceries to the car and gave me a drink on the house. Very welcoming.

I continue to order food from this place and it's always made so fresh and tasty! The egg and sujuk wrap is something I crave from time to time ever since I had it here. Always wrapped tightly, with no fall out and super filling as well. Mouth is watering just thinking about it!: p

Any other things was excellent and I give 5 stars.

Nice Lebanese bakery
He got variety of manouch, foul, humus and coffee.
On other hands you can do your Mediterranean grocery as well.
If you in the area give them a try you will enjoy it

Be careful, always take a receipt and check it afterwards. And always check the products expiration date they sell their products and they know it is expired.

I love this place they have everything and when I say everything from spices to mixed nuts, all different dried fruits they sell frozen foods they sell falafels, kibbeh, pickles, they sell rice cookers, tea pots, coffee machines, yoghurt dry goods can foods, hot coffee
The best is the Lebanese pastries Spinach and cheese is one of my favorites but my most favorite is the and you've got to try the potato one. Apart from Lebanon Al Alamy is the only place that sell potato ones that I know of.absolutely delicious.
Also the owner is lovely I heard him talking on the phone with his wife and kids and he just spoke so beautifully to them so that's a bonus.
It's always busy
and when you go there you feel like you're in Lebanon, just the smell of all the spices and the food and the warmth of the people and Houda is lovely too.
They are all very welcoming

Would have given zero rating
Worst and unprofessional customer service I have seen till yet will never come back again.
The lady at counter and other girl discuss and laughs at the customer order when we order them their strange food names in menu and no apologies when we told them that its not good way of speaking to customer.
The management should look after that they have a professional customer service person at counter who doesn’t make fun of what is been ordered and not to laugh on what we pronounce.

I brought this biscuit from Al Alamy grocery store, they put (Deema date biscuits) in containers and sell them for customers, they cheating on us. Be careful do not buy it, it looks not longer good for consumption and already it’s expiry date has due since long time.

I'm always their fan of good price for few food items. However they charge $10 for simple veggie pizza that they name 'Gormet' which is not even big enough for a child. Otherwise they have variety of products in good value of money. Greatest limitation is, store staff are not friendly at all outside their own community which is very disrespectful. Hope they'll change their approach as we all pay same money for their service.

Accidentally came across this little gem, serving delightful Lebanese dishes. Ordered the traditional middle eastern breakfast with sujuk and eggs, pickles and flat bread.

Al Alamy is one of my favourite venues in Coburg with excellent coffee, and delicious middle eastern foods. It also includes a large grocery section with an interesting selection of middle eastern and other regions of the globe groceries.

When travelling to Melbourne I make sure to come for breakfast and stock up. I have found that arriving around 7 am a Saturday for breakfast is the better choice. By 9 am the place is packed and people are looking for a place to sit. I always order the traditional middle eastern breakfast with sujuk and eggs, pickles and flat bread.

Uber eats driver, if you want to make extra bucks then don't pick the order from this place. If you got a time and you can wait half and hour then its fine.

You wanna try middle eastern snacks and that too with health. Try this place and have a chicken mashroom or salamy pizza. And cold weather calls you to grab a coffee / hot chocolate.

Plus if by any chance you want middle eastern grocery, this is the place for you.

We have visited this place in the past and most times I've found the food good and the value spot on, I visited them again on 08.05.2021 and was a tad disappointed, they have reduced quantities for the Al Alamy breakfast and increased the price from $14 to $17. I understand the pandemic situation and lockdown might have affected business but it's kind of odd when you order Fatteh and get the bowl half full! Customer service is alright. Unless the quantities are upgraded to pre covid levels, I don't see myself going back.

Very friendly place - We had a Shakshuka that came with 2 generous pieces of Lebanese bread. Concluding that we couldn’t finish it all plainly, we asked for their smallest tub of hummus tubs but it was still too big. In a few minutes, the owner came out and asked us whether we’d like hummus. And there it was, a heaped dollop and free of charge! We are so thankful! Will come back again for sure
