100% best massage and facial on the mornington peninsula/rye. The girls were so lovely and so attentive to make sure I was comfortable the whole time. These days it’s so hard to find somewhere that is both relaxing and professional, as well as quality treatments.
The rooms are also dark, with candles to dimly light the room which is a beautiful change to some facials i’ve had in bright rooms with windows etc.
I didn’t realize how much of a difference it actually makes.

Underwhelming. Massage pressure not what I requested and during the massage I asked for more firmness but after a minute it was back to light pressure. Technique was good Facial was performed without explanation of what was happening.

Worse facial ever
had. Almost believed that she was watching her phone whilst doing my facial. Wasn't a professional. $90 for that. Bad. Well that's the worse. While waiting for our friend one of the staff came out and aggressed me asking me why I used Google to review their services. Well if she had said "I am sorry for your bad experience. Can I maybe offer a refund. Or really sorry about that". I would have been fine but there.wow. Really bad customer service.

It was my first visit to Akuna, thanks to a voucher from hubby.
As a 'senior', I was concerned with my dry, ageing skin. Kahlia recommended an age vita renewal facial and rejuvenating peel. Just over an hour later, after Kahlia worked her magic, my skin felt and looked hydrated, smooth and 'plumped'. I then had a manicure and pedicure which were great, but it was the facial using organic products that I loved even more. Thank you.
