Akuna Anglesea Pizza, Bar & Restaurant

I want to highlight the great service and excellent attention. I didn't ask, but I got the impression that it's run by the owner, and that makes a difference. Highly recommended – the portion sizes match the prices. The interior of the place stands out, with its style and decor. Highly recommended. I hope they can continue to add more options to the menu, especially vegetarian ones, but nothing to complain about. A solid 10 out of 10.

I wish all restaurants had such a nice, attentive and helpful staff. The pizzas were amongst the best I had in Australia - perfect crust and fresh ingredients. They can also make pizzas half/half if you cant decide which one to pick, which is likely given the inventive menu

Context: public holiday and under staffed

I understand the issues of being understaffed however my friend and I arrived and ordered within minutes of each other - simple orders of poached eggs on toast (one with bacon, one with halloumi)

After 20 mins of waiting I went to check, told the dishes would be 5 mins. My food did not arrive until 40 minutes after paying and the eggs weren’t even runny and toast was hard (which I did eat because I was starving but wish I’d taken back)

When enquiring about my friends food (also poached eggs on toast) we were told it would be a further 20 mins. They were happy to refund the money back to my friend and apologetic about being understaffed but we had places to be and this was a very disappointing experience.

We had the most fantastic dinner here. The arancini balls, pizzas and risotto we're all delicious. Such friendly staff and owners. Will definitely be back.

We had cinnamon rolls and coffee, good stuff! The kids loved their crepes and milkshakes. Very friendly staff!

Nice atmosphere however the special of crumbed flathead was just like Birdseye fish fingers, the vegetarian pizza also not properly cooked. Very disappointing.

Great venue and atmosphere, but if a single takeaway coffee is going to take 40mins, it'd be nice to know when paying. No issues, just say something.could go and come back instead of losing big part of the day.

We ordered 7 different pizzas and they were all fantastic, and not just your normal hits! The Italian meatball pizza was a particular hit. Delicious. Thanks!

How lovely it is, to have another beautiful option in Anglesea! Their coffees are wonderful and they have a special gluten free cake, which I should stop eating Their service is so friendly, they take much pride in wjat they do, and I look forward to watching this family run business flourish.
