Akora Flats

Akora Flats was a perfect stay for us in Metung. Waking distance to town and fitted with all the amenities we required.

Recommend this place to small families and groups.

We had a lovely few days staying at Akora. Very comfy couches & queen bed was amazing. Kids loved the double bunk.
Amenities were terrific & the dishwasher at bench height was excellent.
The complimentary bottle of red was a lovely treat as was the wifi & apps such as Netflix on the tele.
Walking distance to town & short drive to the Metung Hot Springs.

We chose Akora Flats to stay at for a five day break because it is dog friendly. It was perfect for us as our unit had a small fenced in dog run on the side.
The unit was well equipped with everything we needed - induction stove top, microwave, dishwasher. The videos that the hosts sent us of how to work everything were very helpful. Be sure to read the one on how to get into the unit. The bed was very comfortable, good quality linen and towels. Good shower, comfy couches. No TV reception but we had Netflix, Google, Youtube to keep us happy.
We explored Metung and surrounding area. Easy to walk around the town. Nice walk at the end of the street that takes you into the town.
Make sure you go to Metung Pub - great pub with fantastic food. Excellent communication from hosts, making sure we were settled, etc.

Well equipped and cosy, pet friendly accommodation- perfect for a family stay in beautiful Metung. Felt peaceful and comfortable with great privacy and easy to use. Highly recommended and good value.

All I had to do was bring my own food and everything i needed to enjoy my hoilday was provided a home away from home. Thank you so much my stay was very enjoyable.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation! The beds were comfortable, the location stunning and the bottle of wine very welcoming. Our pups loved the the grassed area to play as well. Highly recommended. Fantastic apartments that are very well appointed. Pet friendly, Fenced, Parking, Clean, comfortable and centrally located

The location of the flat was amazing being near food accommodation and beach/lake. It was only 20 minutes away from Lakes entrance which was really good for us. Although the shampoo/conditioner/body wash samples were a little small considering we booked the flat for five people. For breakfast we found that the sugar packets were wet. On the website it said there would be a bottle of wine and we were a little disappointed to find that there wasn't one. The kitchen was filled everything we needed to cook meals. The tissue box was empty also. The laundry and bathroom was very handy having all the cleaning products as well as the kitchen. The internet service in the flat was good. The backyard was very good for our puppy. All over, pair stay was great but the little things were missing.

Our stay at Acora flats was very comfortable. The flat is exceptionally clean and has everything you need. It is situated on a nice and quiet street, very green and beautiful. The flat had enclosed backyard fully fenced and good for our dog. All the Metung attractions are within 5 min drive, about 30 min to Lakes Entrance. Jess is very helpful and responsive. We will be back for sure!

Place is ok needs to be refreshed. Got there after a long drive just needed to shower and no soap shampoo and hand cleaner all containers where empty and 1 toilet roll for 4 people for a week? Had to find a store to purchase all these items. Owner apologized blaming cleaner and offered a refund. Advise her it was not about the money but the inconvenience and you can decide what you think is appropriate (still no refund). Floors were not clean also had bugs and ants under the deck, which we later found out why as there was rubbish stored under it. Bins smelled and had maggots in them so we had to keep away from the property and had them on the footpath which then had been used by other people. Charged $130 for cleaning and has signs asking you to make sure you clean before you leave? Only good thing was that we could bring our dog.

Our family and dog stayed in Unit 1 at Akora Flats over a recent long weekend and loved our time there. Friends were in Unit 2 and the ability to open up the rear yard between the two was a real bonus.

The unit was clean and tidy, with a lot of little detail you don't expect from more budget accommodation e.g. Complementary bottle of wine, well appointed kitchen with induction cooking, glad wrap, tin foil - it was great!

Our dog had a fully fenced front (grass) and rear yard (concrete) ; and the rear yard was nice and private with high fences. The short walk to and from town was a nice was to start and end the day. Thanks for having us Metung!

Lovely clean apartment, easy to find, lots of space for the two of us, and really appreciated being dog friendly. Great spot to launch a holiday at Metung.

Stayed in flat 2. Clean & tidy, comfortable apartment, beds were comfortable, quality bedding and towels provided. Enough space for family of four. Fully equipped kitchen,
perfect location not too far to walk to shops. Plenty of car parking, quiet street. We loved it and the bottle of wine provided by the hosts was a lovely touch. Thankyou. We look forward to staying again!

Spent a relaxing weekend in Metung staying at Akora flats. Clean and tidy and everything you need for a comfortable family stay. Walking distance to Metung shops and waterfront.

We had a great holiday. 2 friends & fur baby. The flats are modern, clean & comfortable. Every mod con. Just a short walk to lakeshore.
