Akita Sushi reviews
30Meals are always super fresh, we eat here often, very fast service, as always a pleasure to visit.
Never have many sushi roll options, and what they have don’t have much filling at all. Nothing feels made with care, just slapped together. Only go here sometimes because I live very close.
Where's the filling in the sushi rolls? Paper thin slices of salmon in the salmon pack. We are speechless. Worst restaurant experience in my life without a doubt. Don't waste your money like we did. Still starving and $50 gone!
Not real Japanese food! Most likely owned by chinese. Ramen soup was noodles with carrots in brown salty water
Will rip you off with "eftpos minimum"
Food isn't that even worth it honestly
I’m Japanese but No one in this restaurant is Japanese. I ordered Katsudon but I don’t think they know how make Katsudon at all. It’s not Japanese cuisines, i don’t recommend. I will never go there again.
I do not appreciate my husband feeling humiliated because they made the wrong order and he wanted it changed! Guilt trip after guilt trip and over 45 wasted minutes followed by an unprofessional and sour attitude. We have been loyal and regular customers and always loved the place. We are now done. You will never ever maintain good business by becoming rude and not owning your errors!
Just bought a Sushi Deluxe pack which was made to order for $17.5 and I was shocked at how small the pieces were. Looks like they are cutting costs or a new chef was in and training? The pieces were about 1/3 of the size of any other sushi place. Disgusting as I paid good money and still I am extremely hungry!
Absolutely amazing. Reasonably priced, outstanding service, and absolutely amazing food. Not often do you find somewhere that ticks all three boxes!
A lovely hidden gem.
The staff were so accommodating to those enquiring about vegetarian offerings. Enjoyed a lovely vego Bento Box and a vego Nori roll. Filling meal, good price. Well worth a visit!
One of those rare occurances where you try out a new restaurant and it winds becoming a new favourite. Akita Sushi is amazing, affordable, delicious and the staff are very welcoming and polite.
This should be "must-go" for anyone that appreciates quality and affordability.
We wanted to place an order for take away lunch on father's day.my husband rang the phone number on the menu only to discover his call had been directed to a message bank.no idea if it had anything to do with the restaurant so he never placed an order.bad look for the place when customers can't place an order
Due to Lockdown, I guess, they were closed. I didnt get out of the car to read the sign on door as it was freezing outside. An update would have been handy.
Me and my wife go weekly our favourite is the Tori Bento Box and the sashimi Bento Box always top quality highly recommend
One of the best places to have Japanese cuisine! Delicious food, friendly staff and excellent customer service.
Food was delicious i had the spicy seafood ramen that had a good amount of seafood to noodle ratio and was very tasty. Service was excellent and very friendly and food was quick in coming to the table. I would recommend this restaurant to those of you that like flavour other than your standard Chinese menu items.
The food is on par with the price you pay - just average. Wish the lady at the cashier would be more friendly and at least smile a bit.
This is a great place to grab a quick bite or dinner, the foods tasty and the staff are really friendly!
I absolutely love their fried rice! I think it’s the best fried rice in Ballarat! Even my grandma agrees!
Looking for places to eat which accommodated a group of 17 proved difficult in Ballarat over the holiday period as most venues was closed. Akita was able to seat us. The staff were friendly and the food was surprisingly good. We ordered dumplings, yakisoba, okonomyaki, unadon, fried oysters and they were all yum. The spicy salmon roll tasted good, but rice had a slight gluggy texture. Would go here again!
