Airo Restaurant

Monday night dinner. Staying in the hotel over night. Arrived to the restaurant at 6 and no tables available. Had to sit on the bar for dinner. At 7: 30, still a number of vacant tables, visible from the bar.

Ordered a beef burger. Bread was far from fresh. The patty overcooked and doubtful quality.

Only reason why this review does not have one star only is the friendly bar staff.

Next time I do a stop over night between flights, I will for sure not eat here again. I’ll go find a McDonalds or similar.

We had a dreadful experience with Qantas with morning Darwin flight cancelled, and dumped on 8pm night flight with refusal.to.use the lounge on payment. Airport volunteer guided us to PR Hotel restaurant. Aimee welcomed us with her lovely smile and cheerful manner. Later Kyle was equally welcoming. Due to our Angus beef burger order being delayed by an hour, he apologized immediately and shouted us beers. Great customer service Kyle, you did exactly what was expected of you and made our day!
Our time at Airo was well spent and we appreciate your ability to.nake us feel comfortable. Thank you!

Coffee would be the worst in Melbourne, weak and not made well at all. Service is rubbish and always too busy so often find yourself waiting in a line.

The chips are crispy & the aioli is tasty & creamy. Fabulous & very quick. Considering the location the prices are better - similar as any restaurant.

A huge compliment to the bartender & staff Anthony, Kiani, Wassim & Dana who worked Monday night til late on May 16th. All very friendly & chatty when free. The cocktails mixed to perfection. Food fabulous.

Customer service like this anywhere is sadly hard to come by. True testament to these 4 for enjoying their job if I could I'd give them all a day off WITH PAY!

A good destination to set for is you are going to the airport to pick up someone at the 1min pick up.

Not a bad place to grab some food before a flight. Is attached to a hotel and offers your usual buffet fare. Would have given 4 stars but is very pricey for what you get.

I’m writing this review as I sit in the restaurant.
My family and I were more than happy with our meals and currently enjoying very well presented deserts.
I ordered the prime Angus Scotch fillet cooked blue, as did 3 of my family.
Steaks were cooked perfectly!
Most of the staff were friendly and helpful.
The only reason I didn’t give five stars was because of one sour staff member and the rather high prices.
Last visit was amazing and I should have written a review then.
Well done Airo, we’ll be back again.
