16 Overtake! Water! Allow! Delicious, stir-fried wild rice has a wok-like aroma! The best tea in Sydney & Melbourne!
Very very yummy and authentic Hong Kong restaurant. Better than a lot of top ones back in Hong Kong. Thanks for bringing us such good food!
Great HK style french toast and egg tarts! Friendly service. Will definitely come again if we are in the area:)
One of the most authentic hk cafes (cha chaan teng) in Melbourne, except the portion was huge compared to any hk local cafes. Shared a few dishes with friends, satay beef instant noodles (沙嗲牛出前一丁), stir-fried beef noodles (乾炒牛河), salted fish fried rice noodles (咸魚雞粒炒米). All reminded me the taste of Hong Kong. Hot milk tea was silky and balanced flavour of tea and milk.
Lucky enough to have the freshly baked egg tart, yummy!
Had an amazing experience at A+ HK Cafe. They had a wide selection of authentic HongKong style dishes and the flavours were immaculate. Customer service was also incredible. 10/10 would recommend.
The fried ho fan with beef my partner ordered carried the quintessential 'wok hay' (the breath of a wok), although my braised tofu and roast pork with rice didn't quite have the aromatic kick, the flavorsome roast pork with cracklings and tofu conveyed the 'bromance' urban legend beautifully. We washed our dish down with silky smooth HK milk tea and ice cold lemon tea, both of which were excellent. To top off this comfort food feast, the fresh off the oven egg custard tarts were divine.
Hong Kong's unique east-meets-west culinary magic has landed in Knox Westfield. Well done A+ HK Cafe.
LOVE THE PORTUGUESE CHEESE BAKED RICE AND HONGKONG STYLE MILKTEA! LOVELY STAFF MEMBERS AND AWESOME DINING ENVIIRONMENT. WOULD DEFINITLY VISIT AGAIN:)
The food was perfection for the price it is at. I ordered set A1 for breakfast with egg tarts and chicken pastry and it reminded me of HK due to how authentic it tasted. They are also the only HK cafe in Australia I’ve seen that also sell yumcha style dim sum that is baked in house by a famous dimsum chef.
The service was also exceptional. I was served by Lawrence and Michael and they were not only super friendly but also extremely hospitable. Great work guys!
Ambience and food was incredible. See if you are lucky to get your hands on their beverages (lemon tea, milk tea, yuen yang) before they sell out. The drinks are all prepared by Melbourne 茶王 himself. If you hit the jackpot you might even see him in action.
Some dishes were ok but overpriced with small portions. The cheese bake was a complete let down. Severely under flavoured with little sauce. It tasted like bland cheese poured on cold rice with unflavoured chicken bits. Not the common standard of baked rice in HK.
Decided to check out the new food court in Westfield Knox shopping centre and tried this HK food. Order at the counter, and you will be given a beeper. We ordered the salted fish with chicken stir fry vermicelli and the egg with beef chiffon sauce on rice noodles. Both items come as a meal with drinks. The rice noodles portion was smaller than usual, and there weren't any cut chillies available. Taste wise was ok. Chilli oil was an option but did not suit. The fried vermicelli portion and the hot lemon tea served were OK. A great effort!
Food is fair
Portion is small considering the price
Ordered egg tart as well but was a bit disappointed with the thin crust
Food was great, by far one of the best in the area. The pricing was cheap and they gave big portions
Lovely staff and very yummy food! 10/10 would recommend if you are nearby. Loved the freshness of the lemon iced tea.
Had the special of stir fried salted fish and chicken noodles with milk tea as a set for $18.90. Portion is huge and tasty. The egg tart was a bit flimsy and too thin so it was a bit of let down.
Great food! 正宗港色茶餐廳。奶茶,焗飯都好正。I marked Atmosphere 3 star only because it's still a food court sitting environment. Not great, but I am happily taking the comprise for the good food.
Good choice of CCT in Knox area. Pineapple bun is crispy, fried rice was delicious. Overall great food and great service. Highly recommend!
