Agraba reviews
40Food was all right, not exceptional, but certainly enjoyable. The falafels were dry but that’s the only outright criticism we had and we had tried a fair variety of foods on offer.
Also known as Errols. Casual surroundings and setting. A good place to meet friends.
The food is great and in particular, the cheese sambousek. Perfect pastry and delicious filling.
Excellent restaurant, especially the Lebanese part, but also tasty desserts. We came back several times because it was really great!
Great service, great food and great atmosphere. We got the set menu and couldn’t fault our dinner.
We had a lovely evening, food was amazing and staff very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Definitely hope to go back
No longer a stand alone restaurant. Now located at Errol's café.
Not as good as it used to be once. Food and service standards have dropped greatly.
I used to love this place but since its moved to the other restaurant, it's really gone down hill. Terrible service and food was subpar. Inside is lit like a Big W. RIP Agraba.
Being Lebanese myself I love the food. My father, when alive, would cook everything from meals to cakes and was very good at it. It was rare to find something made better than what he made. In regards to this restaurant, they failed miserably. My son and I were so disappointed with basic things like Tabouli, it had very little parsley and cracked wheat and they used red onions in abundance instead of spring onions. Horrible. There was not one thing we ate that you could say they got right. The only thing that I never had before was a Lebanese beer that was very nice, and obviously the restaurant didn't make that. $115 for two people was excessive for below park Lebanese food. I will stick to places in Brunswick such as Tiba's as they are competing against many other Lebanese restaurants close by, and in my opinion, this keeps them on their toes. To summarize, don't go to this restaurant.
Isn't Agraba a Persian name based on the Aladdin cartoon? Anyhow the food here isn't Persian but definitely Lebanese and I have eaten the takeaway food with pleasure. The food is fresh and tastes good even after reheating at home. A definite must try.
Overpriced, tiny servings, slow service, and food that i probably could’ve cooked myself - and that’s saying something!
Bland food, even I could've cooked it.fried Halloumi and Falafels tasted like they were frozen, DO NOT recommend at all
Now this is what a sharing meal is all about. So many tasty vegetarian options, fine portion sizes, a really nice and open atmosphere and fantastic service. Agraba is an Errol St gem that you have to visit when you are in North Melb.
Food quality has gone down significantly. No point spending that much money on terrible food. Good service.
Very disappointed been 40 mins and the order still has not arrived. Let’s hope the food is atleast worth some of the wait. VERYY DISSAPOINTED so far.
Update: food arrived after 45 mins and the serving for the main dishes were like appetisers. Would not come again, only came cause they were on Zomato Gold.
P. S. I never post reviews but the experience was so bad that I Just had to
Small but cozy. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful particularly in helping us choose dishes. Food itself was very authentic and delicious. Price was very reasonable. Would recommend
Really tasty food with reasonable pricing and portion sizes.
The restaurant space and music were also really aesthetic.
What use to be one of Melbourne's best eats has now unfortunately become the worst. Cheap nasty ingredients mixed with zero talent chefs serving up spam level food. Turkish coffee? Try Nescafe instant. Whatever happened it's the end.
Fast service hot food! We had the banquet for 9 people, delicious assortment of foods came out. All served fresh and hot. Staff was pleasant and attentive. Very satisfied would recommend for groups! Food was served quickly as well!
The food is great but I wish it was warm. The pita bread was served cold, and so was the stuffed zucchini. The desserts were absolutely lovely though.
